I mean to be fair, Lapiz's build has a good matchup vs Grind's. I'm not saying that's why he lost, I'm not saying he would win otherwise, but it is something to realize. Grind's build also has a very strong matchup vs melee builds (especially in sarn arena :^]), which is probably why he wants to fight Lapiz on a melee character. I want to stay out of the heat for the most part, especially since the chances of me beating Grind or Lapiz in a 1v1 are pretty low, so I'm not really someone who should be talking down about anyone.

Alright I'm not trying to take any sides here, but this whole drama already has a good conclusive ending. Lapiz won using a cws build that didn't abuse cws (for the most part). He used firestorm + cold snap without fully optimizing for it (sort of like the tier 2 dsfarblar copycat builds from s2) and soundly beat Grindcore on both servers.
It's not that relevant to say a build will shit on melee since EVERY build shits on melee now, tier 2 archers can use barrage, tier 2 casters can use mines, etc. To stand a chance as melee you need either insane tankyness like Huzary or insane damage like Dilli, and even then you probably lose vs the top archers/casters simply due to them dealing the same damage or more from a farther range. Can we put an end to this drama now? There's no value in anything either side says now that its been concluded.
