Will LLD characters change in 2.0? GGG Pls Respond!!

As quoted from the PVP Event Rules Sticky by Dan_GGG:

"

Open and Low-Level events
Some events are restricted by level and difficulty. A "Low-Level" event requires your character to be level 28, and for you to have not yet completed normal difficulty.

"Open" events have no level or difficulty restrictions.

What will happen to LLD characters now, looking at the above rule? Will GGG change the rule to "not complete Act 3? or Keep the rule as is, adding a passive point to the total allowed for PVP Only/self lvl'd characters?

Or has GGG even given consideration to this yet? hehehe

Ok, I bumped this thread due to all the 35 point LLD builds cropping up.

Currently we can self level a character to lvl 28 with a total of 35 points to spend in accordance with the above quoted rule. However, a PVP Only character created by talking to Leo, then going to character creation screen only has 34 available points.

IMO, this is a disparity that should be resolved; sooner the better, especially with new folks trying PVP out.

Some possible suggestions for GGG:

1. Change the rule to read "A 'Low-Level' event requires your character to be level 28, and for you to have not yet completed Act 3 normal difficulty."

2. Add one additional point to PVP Only characters giving a total of 35 passive points.

3. Officially state that this is a known and ACCEPTED (by GGG) disparity, with the intent on encouraging folks to self level their own LLD PVP characters.

Option 3 is actually my least desired option, due to not being able to fully try out different tree/build ideas before self leveling an LLD character.

They will keep that rule exactly the same (meaning we will get the extra passive skill point from the Deshret quest) because that is the least amount of effort (i.e. none).

It's what I would do, too.

Ok, so I just created a test pvp only char on Standard......still only 34 points.

If I were to follow the rule exactly as worded in the PVP event rules, I will have 35 points by completing the Act 4 Normal 1-skill/2-respec point quest (manually leveling).

Would be nice for GGG to come to a decision soon and post it.

Very solid question in the OP. 1 point in LLD is quite the deal. Can we get some anwer regarding that matter? Is it allowed to get that 1 extra point if not then ok, if yes though the pvp-only characters should change and get 35points
