[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
Yeah, nobody really paid much attention to Bisco's early 2.6, but once it started to gain traction that's when Goldwyrm went up in price as well due to it having the highest IIQ roll available with the least amount of sacrifice.
Since most builds won't incorporate more than Bisco's + one other piece of gear, that sort of communally became the second piece people would choose IF they were going to add additional IIQ on top of Bisco's, leaving all other gear to more or less remain static while Goldwyrm became more expensive. Signet I'm guessing went up in price a bit too due to the constant iteration of high level xp penalties over the past year. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Hey again Serleth. Thank you so much for answering my first question and answering so quickly. I was actually wondering about using a bisco's instead of because I do not have many stash tabs and run out of room to hold rares to sell. If my goal is to farm currency instead of currency + rares, because of lack of inventory, is it still worse to get a bisco's over a rare IIQ amulet? Happy new year!!

Happy New Year =)
EDIT: Forgot about Shaper mod. 8-10% quant. That'd be a good, cheaper alternative, maybe, but 8-10% is on ilvl 85 so... probably extremely rare. The more common variant is 4-7%. Bisco's would be better, if you can afford it. But yeah, Bisco's is fine, just keep in mind that you're going to have to fill out resistances elsewhere and you're going to have less life, and Bisco's is now expensive AF (minimum 13.5ex). I don't know how many tabs you have but one solution to the inventory problem is to lower your prices quickly. I have 11 tabs I use for my shop, with one tab each for 1c-10c, then a "Shop" tab for anything above that. What I do is every 24 hours, I drop everything that's 10c or less by 1c in price, and vendor anything in the 1c tab that didn't sell. Then my shop tab, if it's priced at 15c, I lower to 12c, then into the 10c tab. Anything 20c+, I lower by 5c. This way, I pretty much always have room. Like I said, I don't know how many tabs you have available for your shop but if you have 6 tabs, then instead of doing 1c, 2c, 3c.... 10c., you could do 1c, 3c, 5c., 7c, 9c, shop tab. If you have 3 shop tabs, you could do a 1-4c tab (NW corner 1c, NE corner 2c, SW corner 3c, SE corner 4c) and use the price individually method, same concept for 5-8c, then a shop tab. If you only have two tabs, you could do the same thing except in 2c increments. Etc. If you find you still have too many items and not enough space, lower your prices quicker. Every half a game session, drop prices. So when you first log in, and halfway through your session. Even if you're only playing 2 hours a day. I just wouldn't be in such a hurry to discount for more valuable items (10c+). Or, just be more discriminating with what you list. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. First of all: Very nice guide, thanks for that! It makes a lot of fun to play :) Really powerfull right from the start and very cheap. Only bought a 5L bow for 2 Chaos :)
I would have a question about the bow crafting. I never crafted anything. How expensive are the three methods? Method three is 6 Ex for the Master Crafting plus the Regals and Scourings. But how many will i need? Worst case 60 like the 60 alteration from Method one? (I cant remember why, but i think i read somewhere that it will take around 60 Alts to get the sharpshooter) On XBOX that would be Regals and Scourings for 180 C or 3 Ex. I have the feeling that on XBOX everything is 50 % more expensive. Maybe because of the lack of farming bots?! That would be 9 Ex without the 6 Link :D Method One would be 2 Ex for the Master Crafting and 1 Ex if i don't get +1 with the Regal. That would be 3 Ex vs. 9 Ex. Is it worth it? How important are the 2 Res on the bow for Endgame like Atziri or Tier 14/15 maps?
" I have no idea about xbox prices, but honestly unless you're really dedicated to crafting on your own, these days it's cheaper to buy the 6L outright. Those methods are largely left there for SSF leaguers. If we go on the higher end at PC trade values (120 alts, scours, regals), or roughly 10c, 40c, 120c, that's roughly 2ex right there, plus an average expectation of 1000 fusings per 6L (5ex), plus the Catarina mod (1ex) and the 1ex to get +1 bow gems, that's about 9ex to craft it on PC. Whereas you can flat out buy one for 3.5-5ex. Dual res is also no longer as important if you go with the rare quiver, but again that's left up there for a variety of reasons.
Off Topic
I'm working on crafting an Elder chest. I was super sad when I got this,
because the rolls are great, but largely useless. I'm super tempted to block and exalt this. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Last edited by Serleth on Jan 3, 2018, 5:27:29 PM

Thanks for your anweser :)
I would have another question. Is Empower really "needed"? Is it so much better than some support Gem which effects projectile damage like Slower Projectiles, Physical Projectile Attack Damage or Iron Grip?
First, PPAD doesn't work with the CA cloud at all, and Iron Grip's primary function (Strength modifying the damage) doesn't either, because both are modifying projectile ATTACKS, as opposed to the projectile itself.
Confusing, I know, but the cloud is not considered an attack. It's a ground effect SOURCED from the projectile, which is why projectile ATTACK modifiers don't work but projectile modifiers do. As for Iron Grip's secondary function (increased projectile damage), while it does amplify the cloud damage, it's an additive modifier (increased) as opposed to multiplicative (more), which makes it a suboptimal choice. Now that you know PPAD and Iron Grip basically aren't even choices, to modify your initial question to "Is Empower better than Slower Projectiles?": Yes, Empower 3 (in a +1/+2 bow) provides more damage than SP does. It is not "needed," but it an overall damage improvement, but only to the tune of about 1,000 dps However, with SP compared to Empower 4, the difference is SIGNIFICANT, an additional ~9,000 dps, which equates to roughly a 12-13% improvement. Thanks again! The whole topic was a little bit confusing.
I am just at the beginning of this build and it already playes really well. Currently having 28 % IIQ and around 80 % IRR. I am just playing Tier 1 and 2 maps and making around worth 2-3 C / map in pure currency without using the chaos recipe. With the recipe it should be around 12-15 C / hour :) Furthermore the leveling is still quite fast. I am currently level 80 and 11/12 lvls above the map level and do a levelup in about 2 hours because i normaly don't die. On higher Tier maps like 5/6 i sometimes habe the problem that there is some enemy which two-hits me really fast. In addition there some map bosses i can't do. For example dungeon tier 1 oder spidar liar tier 5. I have around 3800 life, max resistence and they kill me so freaking fast. Am i stupid and doing something wrong or are these bosses too hard for their low tier level? Last edited by frky on Jan 4, 2018, 4:24:44 AM

Life is your problem. At level 80 you should have closer to 4.5k life.
I can't see your characters because you have them hidden, but based on previous experience with this issue from other users, my guess is that a) you opted to go hard into dps nodes before going for survivability. Fixed by taking out dps, getting life. b) You don't have high enough life rolls on your gear. Anything that isn't unique should be rolled minimum +70 life (belt, amulet, helmet, gloves; if you're going with a rare quiver, that too). I often see people post gear here with no life, or +30 life. Also one of the most common issues I run into on this thread is that people don't run Seething life flasks (66% reduced recovery, but instant healing). Because this build doesn't leech and regen is taken largely to offset Blood Rage's degen, regular life flasks heal REALLY slowly. Hence, Seething flasks. They're a requirement, at least two of them. Thanks for the hint with the life flasks. I will craft another one or two with instant healing. Currently my skilltree looks quite like yours without the jewels and two lifes nodes. Had no luck yet with jewels :) Gloves and boots still have around 25 life. All together i know what i have to do now :)
Srsly, wtf? Today i found 2!!! Ex, one Axe i sold for 1 Ex and a Tabula Rasa. Last time i needed around 500-600 hours for that :X Last edited by frky on Jan 4, 2018, 6:50:12 PM
