Hi guys.
I have question what is the better:
Buy 6link item or jeweller & fusing?
I'am worry for bet RNG.

Best Regards

Estimate the cost in exalt for approximately 350j and 1200f

Then price the item on poe.trade pre-6L'd.

If jew/fuse cost < price (and you're willing to gamble), then self-link.

If you're not willing to gamble, buy it.

Hi I was buy 6 socket starforge lost 2400fuse and nothing, can't 6L.
What do You thinck guys stop fusing->sold or try more?

:(
That's why it's a gamble.

I'm stubborn. I'd keep going.

But the safe play is to sell it and buy a 6L'd one.

I feel like there should be a sticky PSA on reddit.

-- ETA for leagues will be announced three weeks prior to release. With rare exceptions (like massive expansions such as 3.0), this will be more or less a three month timeline.
-- League itself will be announced two weeks prior.
-- Patch notes will be released the week of (likely two days prior) along with JSON data (if applicable) around the same time.
-- Repeat unless otherwise notified by, idk reading the news posts.

Response to the PSA on reddit comment
Spoiler

As someone who has research and reference experience, Agreed. One thousand times agree.

However, as someone who has research and reference experience, it won't actually cut down on the number of repeat questions on reddit. You can lead someone to a recourse, but you cannot make them read it. Also I have found signs, PSAs, sticky/pinned comments, etc are for those users who already know how to find information. Too many people think, "Ohh I have a quick question, making a new thread will be the quickest, easiest, and most convenient way to do this."

I'd like to be wrong about that second point, but lets just watch reddit two weeks before the challenge league through the first two weeks of the challenge league. I'd wager it will be the same set of questions at the same frequency we see every new league.
I hate it when you're right

Actually, you're right - there should be a sticky PSA. It can't hurt, and it would absolutely cut some of the chatter. Admittedly, there are folks that you can't teach, however, I'm pretty sure that doesn't cover the entirely of the readers.

But the other thing is, the people think that problem is my one. I am the first and only person who has that question. So its stupid to look for an answer, because there cant be one.
I make 2 days in a week hotline for an high tech product. MOST question are writte in the manual. But if you anwer RTF
Spoiler
read the fucking manual
people are angry or
tell you you make bad service. In this world my feeling is, people need a plan. And in this
plan all problems questions and situations must be answerd.

Like this tree :-) and how often people asking you why is your profile not open. why cant i look how you make it. do you perhaps have secrets you wont tell us. and so on.

so i say yes to your concern. but i have no hope that it will help
yesterday i managed to get the portal. I tried all things to make it myself. But one challenge i cant do to get the 36.
the grind i dont like. the cards is no chance other to buy some.
the guardians i tried but only minotaur i have perhaps an chance. hydra i got to 30 % i think but it needs 10 min to do so and then i died 3 times. phoenix i dont try.
warband leader was good but i need 6 and its totally luck.

so i was frustratet yesterday and i buyed the shaper kill. That was unbelievable. this guy makes it for nothing and let me all loot. He dont want anything for it. and he need 3 or 4 min.

So i thought, i love this build verry much. And it gives me a big amount of currency. But since 3 leages i need things to buy to get the 36 challanges (what is my goal).

next leage i ask chrono what build can do all the things i need :-)) and try to go with that. As a am in holiday the first 8 days from the next leage, i hope he has one.

Yes i can make this build and then lvl another. but i HATE lvl sooooo much, that i cant do that!!!

And for serlet. Thanks a lot for a build i have so much fun with over the year. And for your great thread. So much nice and funny people who answer all questions.
Thank you for creating this build guide. It has definitely helped me in creating my own iteration of this build. I do have a question though. And I do apologize in advance if this question has been asked before and I missed it but, is it a good idea to use a Blood Dance just for the 5% Life Regen/sec? I am worried about survivability and as of late my character does seem quite 'squishy' to say the least. Or am I just better off with a pair of 'okay' IIR boots?

Because you have your own iteration of this build, I am going to be a little more general in my response to your question(s).

The Blood Dance. These boots are a popular option for life based CA builds. Many of the other build guides on the forums suggest using these boots. They are popular enough for recommendation in Hidden Potential CA builds too. They are a strong pair of boots, and do add a lot of staying power. THey could let you drop Blood Rage too (but not reliable).

This build is written as a dedicated MF build and as such Goldwyrm are best in slot. High fire resistance roll helps achieving res balance. High % Mana regeneration lets you keep clarity at a lower level. All the IQ needed for the build (creating a balanced C ratio) in one piece of gear.

An OK/good pair of IR boots can provide two decent resistances, life, greater movement speed, and a big chunk of additional IR. Finding a pair to meet all of these can be costly, so just keep price in mind as well when thinking about the pair you want.

There is no requirement to play CA as a magic find character, so if you find The Blood Dance to be your ideal pair of boots go for it. Many other CA builds already recommend them!

Additionally you can do a few other things to help your character feel less squish. Instead of jewel sockets, fill in more of the scion life wheel. Drop Carcass Jack for a high evasion and high life rare chest piece. Run stone golem in place of flame golem. Prioritize life on jewels over a damage mod.

Per the PSA/Sticky conversation:
Having a sticky post on reddit about the 'normal' timeline for information, or a best practices/trends would help greatly. It just would not be the catch all fix we would hope for. Besides I do like answering questions, it just gets tiring sometimes. I have actually taken to create a reference/quick answer document I can use for copy/paste if I am just spending time browsing 'new' in the sub. Also I like your point Ichbin, I play Magic the Gathering so I mostly see it as RTFC (c standing for card). And yes many people would be offended by that as a response.
As you know chrono i like discussion obout nearly all things. also verry strange things like rnd in poe. So if someone ask for things and its because of new interest or new sight of something its o.k. But i hate unfriendly lazy people who think all other people on the world should help them to live there lazyness and if not they are noobs or bad.
In poe those people are not so often. But sometimes i do a map and people write to buy something. then i have a macro with "doing map right now please wait a moment i wsp you back".
Most people write then its ok or no i dont like to wait or something else.
some people write things like you bloddy bastard dont sell things if youre not on, or i need it now, or write 10 to 20 times the same poe trade wsp.
thats what a hate. And in real life those people make the most frustration of my job.

in poe or other games i laught about this. but in real life its not so easy to do.
