Two more points of discussion.
Serleth do you find yourself alching 71 maps? I'm currently debating whether I should do that consistently to accelerate the map pool. I'm also thinking about using Pierce as the 5th link instead of Slower Projectiles for the 100% Pierce chance. EDIT: Also, gems to Quality ASAP: Slower Projectiles IIR Empower Anything else? Seems like this build doesn't really need that many Q gems. Increased area on PA and Inc Area quality is nice I guess but definitely not necessary. Or maybe it's possible to drop Inc. Area. " Ash / Ice makes no sense. This build's damage is 99% on the Poison Arrow damage cloud. Default auras are Clarity and a Purity to cap resists due to double Andvarius. Grace / AA could be future options. |

" First, I'll answer maps: no. Currently 81, still running blues and sustaining 71-72 maps. I might start alcing soon but I'm tossed between converting alcs to chaos to afford other things or not. I'd have to test it when I geta Drillneck but I'm pretty sure if anything you drop pierce, since SP is a multiplier and pierce is additive. But it might be adding enough to make it worthwhile. " I don't think a respec is needed. Basically you have 100% Pierce Chance with the Pierce support gem. I'm essentially replacing Increase AOE with Pierce so I can run IIR. With 100% Pierce you might have to fire two arrows instead of one but everything in a straight line will die. Yes you get less damage but you get quite a bit more stuff in return.
