[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
Cheers. Also is emplvl3 better than 21 slower projectile? Will need to recolor my bow if so.

Yes, now that AoE is no longer a factor, and RD and VM are in play alongside CE, it's more important to stack that multiplier on a higher gem level (i.e., by running Empower).

I know that this has been asked a million times and in may different forms, but could I get a recomendation to which gems that I should be running in my +2 5 link bow.
I am at level 70 and am running both a Drillneck and Carcass Jack plus I have the Deadeye Assendance class. Currently my gems seem to follow the guide: Caustic Arrow Void Manipulation Concentrated Effect Rapid Decay Empower (lvl 2) This is where I start getting confused. In some of the earlier posts it mentions not using an Empower until it is at level 3. Am I better off replacing the Empower with something else such as an IIR until it get to level 3? Thanks
Previously, you would need an Empower 3 to break even with the dps provided by Rapid Decay / Void Manipulation (in a +3 bow), and an Empower 4 to beat it. But this is when we were running AoE back in 2.1.
However, this concern was only present because of the necessity of running the AoE gem in the first place. There was a decision to be made in terms of which was better: Empower, or Rapid Decay? Now that we remove AoE from the decision entirely (once Ascended), it's no longer a concern. You just DPS the shit out of it. But, this brings up an important issue: pre-Ascending, do you still run AoE? The answer is up to you, but for future leagues, I will tell you this: if you choose to run the AoE gem before Ascending, you will have the same decision to make between Empower & Rapid Decay, and the answer is you need an Empower "4" to justify using it. In quotes, because you'll need a raw Empower 4 in a +2 bow, but an Empower 3 in a +3 bow, due to it becoming Empower 4 from the +1 all gems. Once you have Ascended however, and drop the AoE gem, it's all about the dps. Remember that clear speed is effective IIQ. The faster you can kill shit, the more loot you'll drop. Therefore, in the 5L setup, it's more beneficial to run dps-centric rather than running IIR as your fifth link, because the more things you drop, the more chances you're giving your existing IIR to roll. " ty. I need to play labyrinth on Meriless to get those right?
Hi Serleth
How You get enchuntments. I try many times make lab but still can't get. Maybe you have some tips how to make lab fast. Now it tooks me about 10~15min/run. |
|
" Gloves are Normal+, but the highest rolls (Decrees) are found in Merciless. Lesser versions can be found in Normal and Cruel. (Word, Edict respectfully). Boots are Cruel+, same principle. I.e, the spell dodge roll in cruel is 5%, as opposed to 6% in Merciless. Helmet mods are Merciless only. " The layouts are the same for 24 hour periods, on the same schedule as Daily resets. You can find a Daily Labyrinth post on Reddit shortly after the reset which will provide you with the layout. After that, it's just memorizing the layout for the day and then crushing it. Since drops from Izaro are not affected by MF, swap Goldwyrm out for 30% MS boots or Mutewind Whispersteps. Gloves and Boot mods are relatively easy to get. Gloves are the least important, so I would do that last. Getting a good helmet mod could take you upwards of 100 runs. There's lots of mods out there, something around 300 different affixes? And only 3-4 are useful to any given build. It's just a matter of patience and grinding it out. I got sorta lucky and got mine on around run #50. Also, some days are better to run labs than others. If you see a golden door in the lab, that's going to be a slow run. I would map until there's no golden doors to impede progress. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Hi!
due to a mistake during my reading of a craft guide and an idiotic, yet lucky, decision, I got myself this little fellow: Considering that it has got only 5 links and that 6-linking it would cost approx. 1000 fusings that as of yet I do not have, but might be able to gather via trading, is it adviseable to 6 link it? By that I mean: will it's worth after 6-linking it offset the investment of a 1000 fusings? |
|
" That all depends on what the fusing to exalt ratio is and what the price is of similar bows is on the market. This is how I figure out whether I should 6L something, or buy the 6L. I take the fusing to exalt ratio, and figure out how many exalts 1250 fusings is (which is roughly the expected amount of fusings you will need to spend). Then I see what the item is worth, already 6L'd, and make my decision. For example, when I bought my bow a couple weeks into Perandus, fuses were 105:1ex, meaning the 6L expectation would be equivalent to 11.9ex. The bow I purchased was available for... 8ex, I think? So I just bought mine. That said, your bow is a Maraketh with high dual resistances. I doubt anything similar is going to be available for cheap. I would probably 6L that myself on the sheer basis of the res balance. Your call, though. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Last edited by Serleth on May 16, 2016, 2:57:43 PM

"I'd six link that for sure. There's nothing on the market as good. If you're still using it as your primary weapon, I'd be tempted to save the 1500 required to 6L it at the bench instead of random. Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
Feel free to message me in game if I'm on. |
