Anyone running with this chest?

Seems like the 10% movement speed from goldwyrm feels so slow in maps.. Last edited by Moksu on Mar 9, 2016, 4:08:27 AM

" 2x Ample Quicksilver Flasks of Adrenaline. Solves that problem. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Pretty sure we're better off using the new Chemist's prefix on quicksilver flasks. They both net you 3 uses with a bit left over, but the Chemist does it with 50 charges instead of 70. Running two of them, you have a use every time you kill 7.5 creatures instead of 10.

Still feels a bit slow, or i am just doing all the unnecessary backtracking. Anyone know does the leech enchant on boots (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/EnchantmentLifeAndManaLeechOnKill1) work with CA? Seems like i am not getting any HP back. Last edited by Moksu on Mar 9, 2016, 5:37:59 AM

" Nice pickup. Thanks for the info. " Leech requires a hit. We aren't hitting enemies with any notable damage, directly. What we're doing is effectively dropping a ground effect, similar to fire trap. So we do not leech. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Hey Serleth, just wanting to let you know I'm having a blast with this build, went Deadeye yesterday and the clearspeed is insane (currently sitting at tier 5 maps). Playstyle is great, very active. Dying is not an issue (yet), sitting at 3,5k life without the cobalt jewel socketed, went IR because I really don't like dodge.
Current gear (I really need regals, not a single one dropped yet): |

Hi!
I've seen your "Inventory and Stash Management" video, but I still have a question about farming. It took 9 minutes (very long, but I don't have much experience in fast farming yet) for me to clear rare Dry Woods (tier 6) map with only 1 portal left (5 full inventories of rares I sold). Do you think that picking up as many rares as you can and selling them is actually better than clearing a map as fast as possible picking up only good base rares ==> go to another map so we don't accumulate alterations, but focus on currency drop (possible fusings, chaos drop) + hypothetically good rolled rares? I never played any MF build (my previous build was LA ranger), so I don't know how people make real money playing such builds. Thank you for answering my noob questions. | |
" For an MF build, it's all about maximizing your inventory space and your time. It's all about the rares, chrome vends, recipes, etc. For low level maps, you don't bother full clearing, you kill the boss and move on. I got into a discussion on Reddit with someone a while ago and given how fast this build clears when it's finished (better than your average build setup, but not top tier), I can tell you that comparing this build to the majority of the ones out there, this one beats out for currency generation. But there's a threshold in your map clear-speed where it becomes a matter of preference: do you prefer the consistent currency that an MF build can generate, or are you willing to rely more on RNG? The short version of the discussion is that for top tier builds, in terms of clear speed, you can generate as much money as you would with this build, but you do need 3-minute clear speeds to pull it off. It's also more RNG dependent: how many good strongboxes you run across, what your map drop RNG is like (selling high level maps), your luck with recipe parts. It's difficult to say how Perandus league and the 2.2 patch in general have changed that, given that Zana now offers higher level maps and the effect of Perandus coins on the market. So I can't give you a definitive answer, but my guess is that once you have this build completely finished (Level 21 CA in a 6L +3 bow and Empower 3), and given the changes to 2.2 for this build where we generate a lot more DPS than we did in 2.1, I'm inclined to believe that the improvements made for this build with 2.2 level out the playing field and make it more probable that it's superior in terms of its currency generation. I know this probably isn't the answer you're looking for, but it's the best I can give you. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

" When leveling I keep pace with the map tiers. Not too high to slow me down and not too low not giving me enough exp. picking up the currencies and vendor rares for Alts -> Jewels -> Fuses. Doing the same build twice I have so many currency in standard that I don't know what to spend it on. In Perandus however RNG really hates me until now. |
