Ranger - [outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+) - Forum

Hey guys, I'm a newer player, started POE over the holidays. Played a Arc templar to 68 first to learn the game. Then saw this great guide and I really liked it. Been following it ever since, and lurking this thread for more info. I'm lvl 77 now and nearing the end of the gearing process, only have +3 bow left on the list. I just wanted to express my appreciation for your guide, it's well written and informative. Also your stash video is great, I learned a lot. Thank you! Also, I want to share a tip I saw in another post about action keys. You can use mouse left-click for golem as well. It won't summon a golem unless you hold Shift + left click. So it's the same as move only, and Shift+left click becomes your golem key. This saves a hotkey, which I use to fit in portal. My setup is: Left-mouse: Golem Middle-mouse: Portal Right-mouse: CA Q: Blink Arrow W: Frenzy COH E: Wither totem R: Lightning trap T: Blood Rage Hope this helps! Regarding the golem on left click in order to save hotkeys: Some of you may find this helpful -- auras do not have to be set to individual hotkeys to be maintained. For example, pick one of your hotkeys and assign it to an aura you want to run (aura 1), then activate the aura. Now, reassign that same hotkey to your next aura (aura 2) and activate. Notice, aura 1 and 2 are both active despite reassigning the hotkey. I do this every time I log in, running clarity, haste and AA. I then reassign the aura hotkey to Vaal lightning trap. This may create an small inconvenience in resetting auras (on login, death) but can save TONS of hotkeys! Hope this is helpful. Also, thanks for this guide. It was very helpful in planning my build (non-MF CA). It's a ton of fun and safe when played properly -- currently grinding the tsc ladder. Did I miss something in the resent changes or did I made a terrible mistake somewhere? A L86 Shadow equipped with +2 and CA(19) + RD (19) + VM (19) + CE (17) I get only 1.5K damage (no golem no frenzy). Is that how it supposed to be?
