Yes they did (can't be arsed to find it right now for "legitimacy" purposes): IIQ affects div cards. They are treated like currency for the purposes of their relationship to IIQ, which means they also suffer a drop penalty exactly the same as currency drops do.

I just made a swap from a +2 5L w/o empower and leo mod to a +3 5L with a lvl 2 empower + leo mod and my unbuffed cloud damage only increased by about 500? If my memory serves me right from warbands the damage spike should be higher?

edit: my cloud dmg with 7 frenzy is about 9k is that about the same as other people with a +3?

Is it worth rolling Spell Totem to 20q lvl1?

I have 2+ without empower with 20lvl gems and have slightly over 10k, but I have OP jewels, so maybe that's why :P Anyway difference between lvl19 and 20 of CA wasn't that huge, so I don't think it's really worth to invest for 2+1 bow, this one level gives very small amount of dps, at this stage you should focus more on defense or mf. 6 link? Maybe for IIR gem, maybe if you have empower on level 3, otherwise it's just fun for rich players and number fanatics. I see no difference in clear speed after many hours of playing on 19 CA and now reaching 20 level.

When you go to your character sheet to check your MF, make sure you click on the caustic arrow icon, otherwise it won't show what the IIR gem is doing.

That's probably all that's happening here.

There are two things going on here.

The first is dependent on your jewels and the rest of your tree as well as your CA and Empower level. You should be at 15k tooltip with 21 CA + Level 4 Empower.

Compare this to the 29k we got in 2.0.

This makes complete sense because of the second thing: at gem level 28, CA got a 50% damage reduction with 2.1.

So the 1-1.5k difference you see per gem level in 2.0 translates to a 500-750 damage difference (tooltip) in 2.1.

To Gosen's remark, it's still worth it to get a +3 bow, however. Remember that the 500 tooltip difference you're seeing does NOT factor in Concentrated Effect.

Your actual damage increase was probably more along the lines of 2-3k, given your gem level of 19.
