Ranger - [outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+) - Forum

Just started with this build, I like it so far :) Just 1 simple question: At the moment I have a 5L +2 to bow gems bow. (empower is almost level 2) Is it worth it (dps wise) to buy for about 7 to 8 ex a 5L bow that has: +2 bow gems and +1 to all gems? It's on warbands. The bow has 2 resistances. Thanks alot! I've been window shopping a bunch on +2 +1 bows and that sounds like a good deal, alot of the 5L +2+1 usually go for 10ex+. The added bonus that it has 2 res makes it sound very appealing. The +1 all-gems effectively adds two levels to your PA with the Empower slotted in, which is the difference between taking 8 minutes to clear a map, and 5 minutes. Consider it like this: spread that over the course of 10 hours played, it's 75 maps per 10 hours versus 120 maps. Which adds up to something like an extra 1-2ex per 10 hours, just from loot trips. Just a rough estimate off the top of my head. Add the fact in that you're getting free resistances, which will help immensely with gearing and allowing you to drop Purity a lot easier... yeah, grab that bow. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018. Starting out this now and liking it so far. Only L66 yet, and gear could be better, but I'll get there (or I won't)... Still using a +2 bow only, and haven't got a Drillneck, nor a properly levelled Empower... Hello! im getting near the point where i want to obtain the 5l +2 bow and have some questins. does the base matter? if it has 2 blue sockets and 2 green does the 5th one HAVE to be red? is it worth buying any 5l bow and then using chromatics if i cant find a reasonably priced one with the colors i need? Hi! I actually made a ranger in warbands, (my first character there) and I'm goinb to give your build a go! I have a few questions about crafting though. For the Gems, I got my hand on a ruby jewel with 12% projectile damage. If I aug it and get something I dont want, do I have to alt it and reroll the whole thing again?
