In my Eyes, PvP is just a joke created by 2 Streamers who actually needed some fame.

Hello Everyone.

I want to discuss about PvP and how it really is.

The way how it's actually is makes no sense.
It is based on budget. Not on skill. The player who spent 20 Exalts on his gear (multimod everywhere; Maligaro's with Ele Weakness on Hit) obviously wins with a big advantage.
This is why I am not going to be interested in PvP until it is balanced and equality for everyone.
(Not even worth to spend ingame currency on maligaro's with Ele Weakness on Hit, just for beeing good on a 600 players interest.)

It is not even close to the kind of event that races work.
Take an example on League of Legends. Everyone starts with the same items and needs to upgrade his gear in this one match of PvP.

"You must queue as a party of 3 players for this event. All party members must be in the same game instance while queuing."

This is said in the rules of a PvP Event. Uhm wait what - I need a party?

"f you need a team for this event, go to www.poearena.com/teams and find others trying to form teams!"

What the hack is wrong with PvP in this game? If you need to register on a Not-Official Path Of Exile Fanpage, just to join an Ingame Event??
I don't have any friends in PvP, I just want to try it, there is no way to get into it with one of those nearly 600 players that are interested in PvP.
Why aren't there mixxed teams?
PvP is too budget, nothing to do with skill and just created because of 2 streamers that hyped PvP to much, that GGG made it into the game.
Before 1.2 - noone cared, now - noone cares.

Try to get Fairness in gear into pvp - makes no sense for people to join it.

Need to add: Now I see, the ranking is by characters and not by accounts, makes it more funny to see that below 400 players are active in PvP.

The same good pvpers on standard are good on temp leagues. Why? they know what their build needs, how to obtain it, and how to play it. There was a fresh start and PVP is a great currency dump. If you can't be competitive with less than 20 ex build then you should find a way to get 20 ex, it's not that hard. Also - you definitely don't need 20 ex.

Pretty sure I know more about PvP than you, so you can't claim I'm more ignorant about the topic we're talking about now.

You think PvP is a 100% gear game? You think if I slap on a 6 link, vagan weapon, corrupted gloves, +1 boots, I'll instantly win the game?

Just stop complaining right there, I'm pretty sure your PvP experience involves putting together a poorly optimized character, bad gear choices, bad skill tree, bad skill gems, and bad playstyle. I've seen your kind before, and I'm pretty sure if you show me your gear, tree, skill setups, and movements, they will all be equally bad.

It's not all about gear, and you literally have no facts to prove that it is, whereas just by looking at the ladder, you can clearly see that even someone who spent 50 ex loses to someone who just spent 20. Get your head out of your ass and stop complaining, or GTFO.

First at all, it was about spending currency into PvP Gear!

The currency is not needed? Why are players even use it? Because it makes their character more OP - > More wins.

.....There are plenty of events that you don't need a team for, the majority of them.
