MOLDRAN IS PLAYING POE!!!

He is special, but classic. Dungeon crawler xl.
I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.

people are trying like hell to give him even the simplest tips - but he wants to argue every single thing.

I know hes just learning, but it just took him 23 levels, before he finally listened to everyone screaming at him in chat that support gems do nothing, unless linked to a skill.

its hilarious, cause everyone wants to help him, but he wants to compare everything to D3, like he spammed quicksilvers twice and then said "SEE, SEE, its junk, its not like the barbarian where you can spam sprint forever".

I know he will be fine as he learns, but its painful to listen to someone say something like resist flasks are junk, because he would never use them in D3... he constantly wants to compare everything to D3, and nothing you know carries over from D3 into this game.

right now I am just watching and cringing.

The point is, he doesn't want to listen to people. He wants to learn the game by himself.
Wow, that accent is thick as molasses. I'll sub if he yells "Hogan!!!" every 10 min or so.
Oversoul didn't get him, i wander what does that monkey do?

Watched him go for over soul. The Catarina quest thing was funny. "catarina is trolling me"
I found it really interesting to watch someone start playing PoE cold.

I started to think back about what the game was like when I first started playing, and it is a huge contrast. The evolution of the UI and UX for a new player is day/night. It was funny to see him see the skildrasil for the first time and his jaw drops.

Nobody watches my stream. Is it because I'm bad? :(

I also never heard of Moldran, but watched it for ours, somehow got stuck..
Reasons could be:

The more the viewers, the more entertaining the stream is: its fun when 2000 Poe experts comments his noob things.
After 2years of playing, i see poe totally different than a fresh starter, so the first thoughts he got about the game were funny. Also his thoughts are important/interesting, because if he likes the game now, he could play it for a longer time, making his viewers to try poe. And as I care for poe, I'd like more players, so I'm worried if he will like the game.
As a starter he does damn stupid things which are fun to watch, and it keeps you frustrated, also you constantly worry he dont get desync, or a stupid death.
He comments everything, reacts after every upgrade find like he had found a mirror :)

But none of these are there when I watch a random dude just playing the game, it doesnt make you think anything..

Actually pretty fun to watch.

Also shows some of the UI problems even experienced ARPG players have when first time playing, like he still hasn't found health bars, mini map etc.

If someone isn't smart enough to check the options before playing a game I'm not gonna consider them an experienced gamer.
Who or what is a moldaran

Plenty of videos out there already for that.

Hell, I sometimes pretend I'm starting cold. It's an interesting exercise in reclaiming whatever magic it was that drew us here to begin with. It's certainly not impossible. Just takes some willpower.

I'll never forget my first memories of this game. Fighting every single monster in Twilight Strand before killing Hillock. Trying to kill all the monsters in every zone. First time seeing Brutus and being like how am I gonna kill this fker. Finally beating Merveil after many attempts and coming out into a new zone with a cool forest and monkeys. Doing all the quests in every side zone. First time I join a party and I meet Vaal. Saying lots of funny things in party chat. First time I ever saw anyone get a chaos drop and was so amazed and how I thought they were so lucky and cool.

There are so many little things that I experienced as a new player that I always try to remember and not forget, really keeps me enjoying the game, all the small but not insignificant memories I've made playing. Looking back, I have a laugh about many of these memories, but I really hold them dear, they are some of the best memories I have playing any game at all.
