You know, I WAS excited for torment LLD pvp
If he doesn't come back = 1 more whiny rage quitter gone from the potential pvp community.
I don't see what's wrong lol. I've stomped on people who genuinely want to get better, ask questions, and I give advice, and those people are doing pretty damn good currently.
" If PvP is only cut out for the super rich players then GGG is 100% wasting all their time and it will hurt their company for all the time they wasted on any PvP updates. PvP will be the same 20 people playing against each other. For instance I cannot even PvP without jacking up all my 6link colors to use the block reduction gem, or I have to buy a second 30 exalt 6 link CoD. How is that fair?
" It's already been proven that LLD PvP is not for the super rich, unless you consider 10 ex super rich, then you should really play PvE more. You're talking about HLD now which has a couple hundred ex gear wall, that's just the way it is. It's end-game content and imo it NEEDS to have that gearwall.
" one more player gone, yes. GG. drop your Exalts gear and fight that "whiny rage-quitter". both of you with a pre-made PvP 28 char, both using self found up-to-Act-3-Normal gear and gems (read: no corrupted Q20 bullshit). if he wins and/or puts up a good fight, feel very proud you drove a good PvPer from the "pvp community", taking it one more step towards a 30-people closed "rich only" club of dirt bags. "lol" you don't see what's wrong. I sure as fuck do. "lol". and in case you were wondering, the above is a good description of what many LLD matches used to be, long before you and your Exalts showed up. people dueling with whatever they could muster, from playing a couple acts of content. "rich" showing up with leveling/twink uniques in that same level range. Greendude being king, because he planned great PvP builds with zero gear. and fucking hell that was fun. " Why do I need to spend 200 chromes on my armor to incorporate a green block reduction gem in order to PvP, or buy another 30 exalt 6l armor?
" I don't care how good of a PvPer he is, if he's whiny enough to rage quit and complain instead of ask for help and grow as a PvPer, then he should leave the community. I'd take 1 noob who's willing to learn instead of 3 pros who whine about everything and quit when shit gets real. And stop quoting the "good old days". If old pvp was so nice, why did it fade out? Oh yeah coz people started upgrading their builds, min-maxing as is the nature of ARPGs. You just got left behind. @Gorsz Because PvP is entirely different from PvE. Why should they be the same? Why should you just be able to take your PvE and put it in PvP and expect it to be 100% the same? People spend hundreds of exalts perfecting HLD builds, don't think it's so easy to get into PvP. It's the same deal with other games, PvP is entirely different from PvE, in regards to builds and itemization and such. Last edited by A222 on Feb 13, 2015, 4:05:14 PM

" oh this is just gold right here. let's pretend I'm a new guy, have a 5 Chaos Orb budget, which is a lot more than reasonable for someone who's around Act 3 Normal or possibly starting Cruel. prime candidate for trying LLD. I ask around for help. watch videos. read the Wiki... level 28 tree. 5 chaos for everything. can use gems that go as quest rewards up to and excluding act 1 Cruel. plan me a build. for a fun low level PvP experience, rather than a "competition" with your Exalt Monger kind. btw this applies not only to new players, but also to ones who don't have the Exalts. go. if you can't, you're not in a position to "help" anyone. and if you keep one-shotting me going "lol don't see what's wrong" and making me quit PvP - you are scum. nice job and great "service" to the PvP community. "filtering out" candidates. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat Shadow: That was fun Last edited by johnKeys on Feb 13, 2015, 4:21:55 PM

" If you only have 5 chaos and your first character is in act3 norm, you are NOT a prime candidate for low level dueling. You are a prime candidate to hang out in the sarn arena and mess around with other dude who are just leveling. You shouldn't expect to be competitive in a competitive level 28 1v1 queue. I geared a 28 off self found stuff on torment on the side of mostly playing pve, I'm not a trader, I'm not an RMT'er, I built my char off like 2ex and it's doing fine. I'm not OP but I'm having fun. Why should it be no-pve-required to competitive duel for prizes in a pve, gear centric game? If you can't be bothered with crafting gear, or trading for it, or farming it, then you shouldn't be in a position to do well in a competitive queue. |

because it's not "competitive"?
and because not long ago, 5 Chaos to put PvP gear + gems on a leveling PvE char, was more than enough to enjoy low level PvP? fucking Exalts used for fucking "competitiveness", ruining what PvP is about first and foremost in Path Of Exile, steadily cutting the amount of people with access to it. " I used to be competitive against other guys at like 1c per gear slot, but the scene evolved, get over it man. You complaining about how hard it is to be competitive isn't going to bring the ceiling down. If you want to have some casual pvp, it's not lvl 28 in the 1v1 queue, it's the sarn arena. Go yell out your complaints and nostalgia there, and find some other dudes in blue gear to casually pvp with. |
