[LLD] Puncture trap point blank needs balance

Still wondering why this is remaining untouched, probably the only real broken skill that has not been balanced yet in LLD. The damage really makes no sense and needs to be reduced, you get insta gibbed by this if you have under 1.5k hp. Nerf this broken skill before season 2 if you want everything to be balanced or these builds will obviously win the season with that ridiculous overpowered damage.


Do you really have to fuck up another season to realize what really needs nerfing, instead of buffing spark by 5% or mice nerfing molten strike take a look at real broken stuff and fix it before any real tournament or it just makes no sense to lauch one in the first place.

The trap nerf did nothing to this spec, it still does way too much damage. Maybe take a look at the puncture gem itself and nerf it, because the trap nerf obviously did not change anything reguarding puncture trap its still overpowered as hell when stacking damage.

If nerfing puncture gem might not be the way to go then take a look at point blank, because that shit adds like 5/3 of pain attunement... ( 50% more damage )

Why would you lauch a tournament when there's still broken stuff out there that can obviously be season breaking.


I might be posting nerf threads quite often, but im taking care of the PvP meta health and i can clearly see what's wrong and what's okay.

Puncture is the weakest it's ever been.
Puncture traps certainly dont need nerfs anymore. They were quite bad even before the potion changes + trap gem nerf.

Lets agree to disagree on that point.

Most people feel like bow traps (including puncture) are too weak and I agree. Got a shield and whirling blades, or an arc gem? Then it's GG.
No one cares about puncture traps anymore. Flicker + melee splash, Cyclone, Arc... lots of guys do have a bow switch now and therefore RoA and WHEN they hit (which is rare vs decent players, not talking about mindless rushers) they just don't deal enough damage to compete with any good melee skill, but they are still in a good place, because they force your opponent to adapt his gameplay. And there is absolutely no way to get insta gibbed by ONE trap with 1,5k hp. I am not talking about BIS gear just about the slightly above average players which is obviously the group of players nerfs should be focussed on.
How about playing more defensively? Walking over traps is not the best way to get rid of them you know.
lol Puncture traps, prob one of the lowest priority issues at this point.
You lose to puncture because you fear it and don't have proper tools to remove traps. An average trapper can't do much to you once his traps are gone or you are bashing his head already. If puncture traps are gone, what's left for phys bow?

Inb4 people start complaining barrage is OP.
