[Suggestion] Vaal skills in PvP
ppl gonna wait the match out so that they can get enough souls to vaal cyclone and win

" Or people are going to wait for Vaal Cyclone only to realize that the opponent can just WB/Blink/Warp etc away from it. Or, they'll just get shot/trapped to death before the opponent even gets sucked in enough for it to hit. |

Hi,
I'm also willing to see the possibility of enabling Vaal skills in PVP (HLD/LLD). The original idea of "ultimate" should increase a lot more build diversity in PVP since the use of the Vaal skill would significantly change a duel. For example, Vaal ROA or Vaal glacial hammer for control, Vaal Righteous fire and tons of Vaal spells for burst damage, Vaal aura for extra survivability, etc. Granting enough souls per match may not be a good idea since most of the Vaal skills are way to powerful; instead, how about having a fixed location/combat dummy in current PVP maps that gives a few charges to player's soul counts? In certain PVP maps players "camped" the the bottom/south and just wait. Having a Vaal skill charging station at the top/north of the map would allow his opponent to accumulate Vaal souls (and have advantage to against him). To win over the control of charging station gives a lot more chances of engaging during a fight. Therefore, the charging station should be at the middle of maps and only one available to ensure players fight for it. The type of granting soul charges can be 1) time-based: stay inside a circle or so generates 1 (or more) soul / sec (something similar to desecrate area: apply a buff to player who stand inside) 2) combat dummy: "kill" or hit the dummy generates finite number of souls each time 3) immediate use: occupy this station for a finite period of time grants a full charge to equipped Vaal skills. May be too OP. More discussion is also welcomed. TL;DR: Put a Vaal soul charger in the middle of PVP maps. This gives players reasons to fight for it. No more camping. | |
