Bring Back Hybrid on weapons for item level < 36

I disagree.

If they brought it back they would have to remove the Prismweave recipe (in addition to lowering the hybrid roll). You shouldn't be able to easily craft BiS IPD without rolling any mods.

Personally I like how it is now. Recipe 109% on your item, Aug one of the acceptable suffixes, then hope you hit good hybrid on the Regal -- from there take it to the bench for Elreon, flat, and another suffix. Making the crafting centered around regaling (one measly roll) isn't cost prohibitive. There are too many rares floating around with good IPD%. Being able to bench craft high hybrid/flat phys and get an almost BiS LLD weapon with no currency sink doesn't fit the game model.

PVP accessibility =/= handing out BiS weapons.

Yeah so, 10 people make a weapon and pvp instead of hundreds.

you dont need BiS gear to be able to pvp
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them

To actually have a chance you need to be pretty close and then only use 1 of the 3 viable builds.

Please, enough with the sugar coating. Pvp is probably one of the hardest things for any new player to get into because of the gap in gear.

You're operating under the false (and hyperbolic) premise that the majority of people are not PVPing in PoE because they don't have access to a top tier physical weapon -- a very narrow and specific subset of the weak "wealth gap" argument... I mean jesus christ, even in WoW, which has been "balanced" and homogenized into the ground, they have vastly different tiers of PVP weapons. The highest tier is gated from new comers until after weeks, if not months, of PVPing.

The biggest negative impact on PoE PVP participation is the queue system, by far, and no one is talking about it. A tiny and fledgling PVP community is broken up into FORTY EIGHT different queues (US/EU x HC/STD/BLD/TRMT x 1v1/3v3/6v6 x HLD/LLD). The only people willing to stick out the hour long+ queue times are those that have invested a serious amount of currency and time into their gear/build. Of course new comers are going to get stomped (even if you hand them a pigeonholed BiS physical weapon). The PVP ladders need to be consolidated, even under an optional basis (letting US BLD queue up against EU TRMT, etc -- bringing it from 48 down to 6). Then MMR will do what it is designed for, allowing the new comers to get their feet wet facing each other.

That's a pretty good point, rather than focusing on being number 1, focus on having more duels and therefore having more fun. Ranked pvp will match you against people of similar level too. Maybe a checklist when you queue? Queueing for:

[ ] 1v1
[ ] 3v3
[ ] 6v6 ctf

Willing to play on:
[ ] US
[ ] EU
I'm all for adding the hybrid phys roll back to ilvl 36- items. A T2 roll is a good spot to not spoil the perfectly rolled weapons from actually crafting, but allow not extremely rich people to do well in LLD.
While I don't disagree the scene can use the hybrid mod, to say that that mod being legacy shuts newcomers out is misleading. I'm top 5 LLD with a vagan weapon - no hybrid. iboard is also top5 with vagan weapon.. You can achieve great range/speed/dps with a duelist vagan mod sword rather than a legacy sword rt mara. As for bows, there's a new mod dmg over time from leo. This effectively (for puncture) boosts that dmg right where u think its missing. On torment you can easily roll a 180~ pdps bow with 30% dot for 2 ex + 1 regal + 1 prismweave. This is by far cheaper than alt/regal madness of early 1.3

Even on that same argument, you spend 1 fuse for prismweave + 1 regal + 1 ilvl 36 bow and u have a hell of a chance at regalling phys/hybrid. Each vicious (for me at least) rolled about once in 120 alt rolls. That's 13~ chaos per roll, whereas prismweave is 1 fuse. There's no sense on acting like it's impossible to get on level footing with "legacy" mods.
I see no good on keeping hybryd crafting out like now, should bring it back ASAP

Nope, no hybrid craft.

Give the people that cannot farm exalts for elreon mod a chance as well.

You don't HAVE to elreon mod to apply a hybrid mod... Genius

Go farm a decent sword without hybrid and then put it on! omg!

I am surprised to hear you say that after all those feedback threads about wealth playing the main role in pvp and now you say you still want the instant i-win button for rich people? Hypocritic much?
