Good find on the path change! I'll hopefully hit 91 or 92 this week and test out dual curse to see how it performs. My hope is that it performs well enough that Lightning Coil is also no longer required for physical damage mitigation opening up more variety in the chest slot options.

Yes you are correct that dual curse does make Hexproof a large issue. Hexproof monsters are already dangerous as we have no leech. This would have to be something that the player is paying close attention to on par with things like Volatile.

For hexproof maps, my thought was slotting Wrath in that blue slot, the build is based around 50% mana reservation so it's similar to running dual curse, and the DPS gain assists with the manual leeching from having swapped out Empower for Life leech and Cold Pen for Mana Leech.

You'd treat Ele reflect and Hexproof map mods as similar disadvantages that require skill gem swaps. Either way I'll test it in the coming weeks and post my thoughts on map viability in T11+ with this change. I personally play very aggressively so I think this change may also be specific to clearing maps as fast as you can i.e lightning warping right upto the edge of mob packs > orb of storms > clear whole screen in 1 second > Rinse > Repeat :)

Hi, need some suggestions please, I died 3 times over last few maps (tier 7/8) when I was so close to dinging 87 argh...

What can I reasonably get that would be upgrades? I know vessel of vinktar was mentioned, is that the best with what I have now? I only have like 80 chaos saved up right now, abandoned plans to link up that coil I had, sold it off and hoping to save up for a 6-link coil instead.

My current gear below, was super lucky to have that taste of hate drop, I'd never be able to afford one otherwise!

@Sectiplave: That sounds like a good idea. More stuff for me to test when the new skills finally get released.

@morbiuz666: You could get more life on belt, but other than that not much to upgrade.

What exactly is killing you? Vinktar will help if the issue is reflect, if it's stuff liek Canyon or GMP Orchard bosses, then your best bet will be throwing in a Decoy Totem somewhere and drop it to kite bosses.

Hmm it was the boss for mud geyser actually, felt like the damage just ripped through energy shield?

And an essence rare monster that spawned flying things I couldn't target which kept spitting lightning at me. Kinda unfair, I couldn't see those things at first.

Can't handle canyon the boss 2-hit ko me last time and I've not gotten orchard yet. I've been referring to the wiki and basically now I avoid those bosses rated bad.

One thing that you might want to look into is running Merc lab for +Arc chains OR +Arc Damage enchant on helm. Once you get used to Arc chaining +2 or +3 more times it feels really hard to go back as it's a massive DPS gain on groups.

Also there are a handful of "if you've killed recently" enchants on boots that are helpful, as well as a decent movement booster "if you haven't been hit recently" enchant as well.

As for gloves, they all seem to be borderline cosmetic in my opinion, I prefer the +spell damage implicit of fingerless gloves however I don't run any unique armor pieces in my setup.

I used this build before ascendacy path and cannt kill bosses, 1hit to kill me. But have much clear speed on maps. I would like to use it again, but I'm afraid of not having Surviva

Sorry I'm a noob, what do you swap out for Decoy Totem? In my mind everything is important except maybe I can remove a support from the Lightning Warp setup? Oh crap I went and sold off my granite flask...

Hmm interesting, I was avoiding the labyrinth as I tend to screw up easily there and didn't want to lose experience. Managed to hit 87 and without that hanging over my head I just tried labyrinth again, managed to get through with 1 or 2 heart-stopping moments. Didn't get Arc enchant, I'll run more of it until I get Arc and the stuff for boots and gloves.

Can't wait to see updated gem setup Enki, interesting to see how to maximize synergy of flame, lightning and cold together for best results. I wonder if it'll be swapping lightning warp for flame dash (I hope so, leveling one already although I can't get Discord yet) or maybe a vaal fire skill instead of vaal haste or would it be the orb of storms cluster?

@thedoldivic: I guess you've played this build around the time between EB change and mana buff. Survivability has been greatly improved since then, and i got a few ideas to improve it even further with the next version of this build.

@morbiuz666: Take out one of the supports on Orb of Storms, something like Orb of Storms - PCoC - Blind - Decoy Totem. Before there's any confusion, the totem will not make use of any of these supports, it's just the socket you can most likely spare.

To be honest, i have no definitive plan for the new version yet. I got a few ideas to test, but gonna wait with that until the new skills are out.
