thanks for experimenting & keeping the arc witch up to date. I haven't played for a while, just installed+started ssf this weekend and decided to follow your guide 100% this time (not just 80% as before). When I finished the first labyrinth, I realized that I don't fully understand why you suggest "mastermind of discord" (improved exposure) as the first ascendancy.
I checked my skills and the only exposure I found was from wave of conviction - and I don't like that skill :) Obviously I don't have a ritual helmet yet, rituals haven't been in the game last time I played poe. Guess I'll see them later. And since I'm playing ssf, I don't know when/if I see that brotherhood ring (you suggest to change to hydrosphere by then). The exposure wiki states "awakened" lightning pen. support would have exposure too. Again: never heard of this awakened mechanic.

Is it correct that those four options (ritual helm / awakened lightning pen. support / wave of conviction / hydrosphere) are the only reasonable options for the build?

If it is very easy to obtain an exposure helmet / awakened lightning penenetration support in SSF, I'll go your route. Otherwise: what about the shaper of storms ascendancy as an alternative? Mechanic-wise I don't understand 100%, but it should improve dps as well? :)

why we not use shaper of storm instead of mastermind of discord?
pob show that shaper of storm give us little bit more dps than mastermind.

Hi guys, I'm having trouble surviving in high tier juiced maps (14+) and also endgame bosses, any idea how to further improve my gear to survive better? Miss the MoM days when I could tank so much better :')
