Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page

I tried to compare the defensive side of the build to the 3.12 pob one and it lost:

- around 1k mana (some of it lost to nerfs in the old build too)
- 30%+ attack and spell block
- The Agnostic notable (?)

and gained:

- 500+ life regen
- 14% phys reduction

If I missed something let me know, but isn't this gonna hurt the overall experience, keeping in mind the new "endgame" inside Maven's domain aka fighting a horde of bosses in a closet, to the point it's still worth considering the old necro build as a safer, less glass cannon version?

Also I don't know yet the specifics but I guess The Agnostic was left out because of mana regen issues?
You never talk about Sigil of power in the leveling section.
So you advice us to keep Orb of storms + Faster casting through all the acts and go Sigil of power setup for maps ?

Thank you for your efforts btw :D
Can't wait to try your build for the second time as a league starter, 1st time was Delve league and was amazing x)
What is the reason for not using the Agnostic?
"War's over, soldier. You just don't know it yet. Everybody lost."
Ran the numbers last night of my final, endgame necro version versus this new elementalist version. Admittedly, I plan to use some of the modifications I made to the build in Heist in Ritual once I have the currency to do so. So my observations are more an apples-to-apples comparison of the ascendancy class change (along with the obvious gear swaps) and may not correlate exactly with the guides as they were/are written.

Mana sustain: Essence Glutton can largely be compensated for by Tempered Mind, Mastermind of Discord, and 2x Mindfulness (small cluster jewels). I would still give necro the edge because the Mindfulness and Mastermind buffs are less reliable in their conditionality, but I'm not as concerned as I was. I still think running RF will be possible with enough investment here.

Damage output: with Convergence active, elementalist offered about 25% more sustained DPS output.

Survivability: this is where I am most concerned. We're losing a ton of block chance here and I don't see how we make up for that. The closest I can think of is the physical damage reduction from the Chaos Golem. Because of this, I'm not sold on giving up Agnostic--Stone Golem and Vitality don't even come close to it in terms of life sustain, even given a little bit of ES--but time will tell.

Resistances: losing the shield also hurts here, too, but it can definitely be worked around.

Mana sustain. with the elemntalist we wont have the high mana recovery as we did with the necro version, archmage support burns through our mana as well.
I tried clicking on the browser version of PoB and it opened blank. I also can't import from pastebin using the browser version. Am I doing something wrong?

Hopefully someone can answer this, cause I'm a bit confused. Would Shaper of Storms (new ascendancy node) be a contender for higher DPS, if you linked a different support gem other than elemental focus?

Are the other ascendancy nodes (other than golem ones) better than this option?

Actually, you don't even have to remove Elemental Focus. Because of the node applying to *all* of your spells, you can shock with Orb of Storms or Wave of Conviction something instead and it'll be almost equally effective. So yes, it totally is worth it if you care more about offense than defense.

You also have a 10% mind over matter extra from the cloak of defiance, the radius of sigil of power wich is increased with 60% and in the arena multiple bosses will inside which is anothe damage reduction and teh biggest upside is the damage scaling wich the necro version lacks a lot.
How safer is the encro build couldnt say but take in consideration against 10 bosses, longer the fight harder will get to survive as well ,with this evrsion with so much damage pen ,damage scaling and still decent defense find it much apropriate for the new league.
Dont forget you can respec anytime on teh encro version , passive tree is 90% same only small differences.
I wish it was possible to make this build be able to kill end game bosses. That's the only thing keeping me from playing it. I mean map clearing is fine, but end game boss killing is really what's required with the atlas change...
Otherwise it's the best build guide on path of exile....

When looking at Tempered Mind that is the cheap version. You get 14% increased recovery. Upgrading that to Transcendent Mind brings it up to 19% recovery, and with a couple points invested toward Templar 24%. Add one more passive and you get 5% elemental penetration if Pure Talent socketed.

I can't see trees on my tablet, so I'm not entirely sure where Enki specked.
