" I think chain works by adding multipliers to the 15% more damage for each remaining chain from arc. I might be wrong but if arc chains 8 times alone and then you add 3 from chain support for a total of 11 but are targeting a single target then there are 10 chains remaining for 150% more damage. |

" Yeah, for Arc skill, the more chains that are not consumed yet, the more single target damage. Also to add that: Chains support also has a 150% mana cost multiplier, which is larger than summon support (120% mana cost multiplier). " Most gems without awaken version are best for this build. Enki also mentioned the alternative quality choices in gem section in the guide. You can use this website for comparison: http://www.vhpg.com/poe-alternate-quality-gems/ I'm still missing Divergent Tempest Shield, that will boost 1% block chance, which boosts mana regen 1% based on "Mystic Bulwark" passive. However that is too expensive for me for now so didn't bother with it. As for Arcane Cloak, I didn't choose alternative one, while Enki picked the Divergent version. Personally I think the additional duration is more important than buff effect. BTW, my gem setup was learnt from WorderMostFoul. You can also check the high-end build setup there. i just came back after a hiatus

I can't believe it but despite only Awakening 0, I did manage to kill Sirius.

Hi exiles, I have successfully defeated Sirus up to A7, 4.4k life and 9.7k unreserved mana, mana regen up to 6.6k, but still I sometimes die from damage spikes. Can someone take a look at my character and tell me how to improve?

So finally, which support gem is better controlled dest or chain?? It's not too hard to proc elemental overlord with controlled dest? Or just controlled dest is better for single target??

" Personally I think controlled dest is better, but you can clearly see they fit different situations: the pros of controlled destruction: * better single target DPS * don't require dexterity, while chain requires a lot (111) . So no meed to allocate skill point for dexterity. the pros of chain support: * easy to proc EO * chain more enemies. With alternative quality gem, also chain large range of enemies For EO, I would recommend using second skill, such as storm brand to proc for controlled dest.
