Enki's Arc Witch - dead for now

I change my mind, this build is definetly not made for the new endgame content (conquerer bosses) Only the whirlwind conquerer is easy to do with 4 watchstones socket. The rest is insane hard, it seems it lacks single dps but even with my setup (I invested 10-15 EX in this build)
Thanks a lot for this build.

I started playing PoE because a friend kept talking about it. I tried first a Marauder but I hated it. It was fun in start, but got oneshotted all the time by later level metamorph bosses and such. I was really frustrated and annoyed, but then decided to give the game another try.

Found your build here and decided to try it and I've been having so much more fun. Just zipping around, blasting huge waves of mobs and overall having a great time.

Thanks so much for taking the time to put it together and share it in a way that was very handy for a new player (like reading through the step by step completion of the Acts, the partial passive tree setup on an Act for Act basis and so forth).

Really appreciated it and it has helped a lot with keeping me interested in the game and to keep going.

Keep up the good work and will certainly look for your builds first on my next character :D

Dymorra, a n00b witch.
Im enjoying the build so far, I have never really got so far before. It has fine low tier map clearings, golems tanking and taunting most of the time but the only issue I found so far is the Leap Slam. It gets body blocked when you are surrounded by hordes of enemies. You can put mouse cursor in the corner of your monitor, press Leap Slam and your char jumps in place. It really costed me a lot of lifes. In this I still prefer the Flame Dash because you can easily get out of tough situations (sure it has just 3 uses, but it refreshes quite fast). I think Leap Slam is more for the melee builds.
What does the "P" stand for in the gear section?
Hi,

first of all thank you very much for the detailed guide.
I'm completely new to PoE and ARPG genre in gerneal and chose your build because it looks fun.

Keep on the good work! :)

However, I have a little thing to mention.
Maybe it would be helpful for other people too.

In "Act 3" you write the following:
Get Steelskin & Increased Duration and link Arcane Surge with them

So I guess I'll need an piece of equip with 2x red + 1x blue link, correct?

Maybe you should add a notice to the beginning of Act 3, that people should look out for a piece like that. Because you always wrote about blue links and so I collected my whole equip with only blue links.

Yes u need 2xred and 1 blue linked togehter, you can look at gem setup section to have some point of view what colour of sockets you have to looking for (but its especially for endgame).
So this is my current equip.

I am hella squishy (4k hp, 1k es) and my single target damage isn't exalting.

What do you think are my best options?

So people are now saying I just need to reroll off this build. It's a "glass cannon without the cannon", and that this build is incapable of doing anything above T10.

Where can I change up some things to improve my damage/survivability? Does Soul Tether need to go? Three Dragons?

At that point, wouldn't it just be a different build?

Short answer is play whatever you find fun. I have no problem doing Conquerors, Metamorphs or t16 maps with this build with gear around 4-5ex, so the build is more than capable. I only struggle with Sirus cause I suck at the fight. If you find yourself dying in medium/low tier maps you probably have to look at your gameplay, and might find the same problem with a different build.

Again, play whatever you find fun. That is literally the only thing that matters.

@Lenestol I am kinda curious to see your char and gear with a total cost of 4-5ex. Can you make you characters public or post your gear here? I am progressing in the red maps now, but I find upgrades very expensive. A 6-linked body armor from the "medium budget" is 4-5ex by itself.

Still lots of upgrades to be made, and I started doing t16 with significantly worse rings, amulet and gloves. Don't have those any more, so can't really link them. As you can see I'm still using a 5-link chest. What I should have written is that I had no problem starting to do t16 with 4-5ex gear.

Above is my current setup. I just started this game for the first time since last week and just picked a build that looks fun. Currently doing some maps but I die so fast.

Do you guys have any tips on some quick wins to improve my dps and survivability? I don't have much currency so currently on a very low budget!

Dont know if you know about this, its my bread and butter for currency:

Chaos orb recipe:

They can be obtained by the following 'full rare set' vendor recipes:

Result Level of lowest-level item
1× Chaos Orb 60 to 74
