Enki's Arc Witch - dead for now

What's the best way to craft? Is it alterations until you hit either non-chaos/lightning to chaos or +2/3 to lightning spell gems then augmenting hoping to get the other followed by a regal hoping to get a solid prefix like spell damage or # to # lighting damage to spells? Or after the regal you get a really crappy mod you annul hoping to hit it and if you do you craft multi mod and craft suffixes and finally exalting hoping to hit a good prefix? Or is there a better and more secure way?

Because I crafted this and according to PoB it isn't really better than say either a duskdawn or Agnerod West because I probably messed up using the above method and not securing a solid 3rd prefix :/

Do we keep Herald of Ice after swapping Herald of Thunder to Zealotry?

Why do we craft the focussed mods? There is no focus skill on our items? Did i muss something?

Rough...Pledge is plenty viable in terms of damage, but Enki took it out of the guide because the amount of time it takes to cast all the echoes makes the staff a defensive liability. By all means use it, but I would try to pick up a Duskdawn or rare staff in short order.

yeah after playing with it for a few hours I quickly realised how much of a liability it is myself and sold it back for the price I bought it, so no harm no foul thankfully. i'm just gonna stick with agnerod west 6 link for now until I can afford duskdawn.

yes!

Do we refund elemental overload at some point? I noticed on the end game passive trees that it's not allocated anymore. Thanks, awesome build.

yes, usually around the time you finish act 10 / start mapping, as usually whilst going through the acts you don't have enough crit strike multiplier to make not using it worthwhile.

Can you use Inpulsa's Broken Heart Sadist Garb for more dmg?
Or do you need to take out The Three Dragons Golden Mask for it?

looking at the recommended anointments for amulet on first page we have some good choices, but whats your take on the "secret" anointments listed here for example:

like Cleansed Thoughts for example, chaos resistance is doubled?
or Aspect of Stone, 20% chance to avoid physical damage from hits,

both of these seem really strong IMO, but idk :D

to me all these seem a lot stronger choices than heartseeker/throatseeker/divine judgement/written in blood?

Edit: the avian/cat/spider aspects seem to be beastcraft only and not anointments, but still very strong with beastcrafting? :D

Build is not set up for Inpulsa anymore at all. You'll want to follow the guide and work towards a Queen's Hunger or 1.5%+ crit chance to spells hunter chest. 5-link will be OK even in red maps.
