Enki's Arc Witch - dead for now

After lots of comparing i've decided to stick with mana for 3.8. EB is only better at high investments, but way too gear restricting and the advantage of running two damage auras is offset by having to use a shield. Infact, I could get 20-30% more damage out of the mana version while keeping survivability equal.

Will start working on the update later this day, can't promise i'll be done today but it will definitely be finished before 3.8 goes live.

I would guess getting Elemancer would be worthwhile. Throw in an Anima Stone in one socket, and you could have one of each of the old golems at 320% increased effectiveness and be elemental ailment immune. You're dedicating 5 gem slots which is harsh, but all L20 gems grants:
- Lightning: 37% attack/cast
- Flame: 84% increased damage
- Ice: 126% increased crit chance
- Chaos: 16% phys res (21% if you get the gem to L22)
- Stone: 441 hp/sec.
- Liege Bonus for 5 golems: 100% increased damage
Obviously these could go up if socketed in say a +3 helm.

Just to see...if all but Lightning were in a +3 helm, all L21 gems, and 3 Primordial Essences + Anima Stone (5 gems and 4 jewels spent, 6 total golems at 460% increased effectiveness):
- 21 Lighting: 56% attack/cast (would have to reach L25 to increase the buff)
- 24 Flame: 117% increased damage
- 24 Ice: 179% increased crit chance
- 24 Chaos: 28% phys res
- 24 Stone: 711 hp/sec
- Liege Bonus for 6 golems: 120% increased damage

Extra 3 jewels + 4 gem levels grants:
- 19% attack/cast
- 53% damage
- 53% crit chance
- 12% phys res
- 270 hp/sec

@Enki I do not plan on starting Arc, but may pick it up mid league. I consider these changes a massive buff to the Elemancer Ascendency. By making yourself elemental ailment immune, you can dedicate 2 flask suffixes to tankiness or simply swap for a different unique.

ye Golems could give rly strong buffs, but you'll have to sacrifice either elemental reflect immunity & life leech or that Beacon of Ruin rendering your shock & chill quite low i guess (not sure how high Arc could shock with its single hits vs life, guess its quite low)

You can get all those Golems to lvl 23 with global spell gem increases on weapons, aswell as clarity lvl 23, wrath up to 25 (woo next 1% dmg xD)

@Dspayre - Wrath's flat damage only counts for attacks ;)

I am a Korean user.

I'm not good at English, so I'm not sure if you'll recognize this article.

I first started the POE with your ARC build in the 3.7 league.

ARC skill reminds me of some old game skill. D2

It was smooth. At first, I spent a lot of time trying to understand the game system and your build.

However, there were times when it was difficult because it was not a high build of DPS. That's what the T16-map boss did.

And while I was waiting for the 3.8 league, I saw one video.

I was surprised because I saw an incredibly high DPS.

Of course the build has given up a lot of defenses.

The reason why you choose a wizard in an RPG game is because you're not defending it.

They often choose wizards because they prefer aggressive aspects.

So I want you to show me a higher DPS direction for your build.

I started the first POE in the 3.7 league.

I achieved the challenge of 40 on my own with your build.

And I will start with your build in the 3.8 league.

The 3.7-League was no more than a tutorial.

So I'm looking forward to the 3.8 league.

The league will start at 5 a.m. in Korean time.

3.8 Update is done now, found a compromise that allowed to still keep Acro/Phase Acro in the build without giving up too much life, mana and damage. Mana Sustain may need some adjustment, obviously can't test it yet.

@Sir_Brucible: Fishings Rods are two-handers, sadly.

@cialdfjqm: Elementalist would be the wrong choice for a high DPS approach, you're better off with Assassin for that. That said, you can still get more than enough DPS to quickly kill Guardians with this build, being able to check your character would help to see what you could've improved.

I spent some time comparing Beacon of Ruin and Elemancer on my Arc, seems like - as long as you play alone - Elemancer gives more dmg and even better defences >.< I can see the needed rework aswell now xD

I used these "fix jewels" for analysis you can copy those and insert them in PoB with "Create custom..." on Item tab.

I did these tests with 3 Golems presuming one gets summoned twice!
These were Lightning, Ice & a def Golem - so Flame Golem enables even more dps
You could drop Vaal Arc for a 4th different Golem - even enabling way more defences.
(The Golem defences + 6% elemental resistances from tree + elemental ailment immunity which sounds pretty nice and lets us swap "of heat" suffix)

This doesnt include ANY shock for elemancer though they will still apply some shocks.
