I'm glad you enjoy the build as much as I do. It's obviously way outside the current meta at this point, but it's still the most fun one I've played.

If you wouldn't mind keeping us posted on how high you're able to push your DPS, I'd be really interested to know. For reference, properly accounting for my shock effectiveness, I calculate my Arc standard DPS in PoB to be 857,546, and 1,361,936 with flasks. More significantly, my Shaper DPS is 509,355 without flasks and 848,896 with flasks. That seems pretty similar to yours, assuming you were calculating Shaper DPS. Of course, that's not a fully accurate picture because Orb of Storms--and whether or not you're inside its AoE--is another wildcard. And this doesn't account for the occasional use of Vaal Arc and its subsequent buff, either.

Also, how do you find Steelskin to be versus Immortal Call? Have you compared the two directly or given any thought to it?

I Finished Phönix, Hydra Minitaur and Chimera.
I allready done the Elder.
I don´t try Shaper yet.

in POB its show me 171k Shaper dps.
Is it enough for shaper?
I know my gear is realy crap. On ps4 Standart league the prices are realy salty.

Which Item can boost the most damage for me. (Or sheapest way increase my dps)

I'll keep the thread updated if I make any big jumps. I'm going to just pickup life on the last 7 levels going to 100 so I don't think I'm going to have any large gains on dps anytime soon. I want to get a shaper helmet for my orb of storms setup to max that out next but its going to take a while to afford or craft one.

I still need to get a level 21 vaal arc. That would be something fun to play with.

I like steelskin over immortal call on any build that can't generate endurance charges. I think the difference in two is very minor though and hope we get more options for guard skills in the future.

171k is enough to do shaper imo. Just don't expect to instantly blast through the phases. You will need to be careful to place the degen zones so they don't cover the whole field and make sure you don't let the adds kill zana.

I'm not sure what would be cheapest on the PS4 economy, but getting a shaper helm with flat lightning damage shouldn't be too hard to expensive.

6 linking your inpulsa would be the best dps boost if you can afford to do it.

So, I spammed metallic+Prismatic fossils on my Tiger Hook until I got 10% lightning penetration prefix and some useless sufixes. Then I added "Prefixes can't be changed" and used Orb of Scrouring on it...
Now its a magic, nonrare item. What I did wrong?

And some addition questions.
Isnt its better to craft Tiger Hook with metallic+prismatic+aetheric?
I was SUPERUNLUCKY with just metallic+prismatic. Dozens of tries to get a penetration prefix. Penetration PLUS Elemental Damage seems to be impossible.

I found that there are a boss, Topotante, in The Teample of Atzoatl. And he can drop Tiger Hook with "Adds (10-27) to (316-358) Lightning Damage. Damage Penetrates (13-15)% Lightning Resistance" prefix. Yea, the first part is a melee only, but isnt its the best base for craft?

My understanding is that this most certainly should not have happened. Scouring an item with protected mods should leave the item rare, even if there are zero prefixes (not that you'd ever want to do that). I double-checked using this website to verify this: https://sheymyster.github.io/PoE-Craft/

Granted, that website does not let one test with fossils, so perhaps that's a wildcard? Unless this is a glitch or you did something you didn't realize, I'm pretty stumped.

Regarding aetheric fossils, I think adding a third one to the mix would either add too many mods or too many wildcards to the mix. And aetheric fossils themselves don't add any useful mods.

Yes, the Topotante's prefix for lightning penetration is stronger than what you can fossil-craft. It's just more difficult to find.

Hopefully someone more experienced with fossil-crafting can answer your questions more thoroughly. I admit I am pretty ignorant on the particulars.

According to this website Aetheric fossil is pretty helpful to hit desired prefixes.
Im not sure what do you mean by "wildcard".
But I'm totally sure that my Hook turned blue, I even used regal orb on it to turn it rare again. And then Orb of Annulment, to get rid of new useless affixes. Guess what it deleted? Guess what I did with that shitty 14% frost resistant 3ex(or even 5?!!) worthy rare again goddamntit Hook ? With my mouse? My keyboard?
And the worst part is, I don't know what I did wrong. So I can't craft again, cuz I can make same mistake.

@PaulMarch: You need to use annuls to keep a rare 1-affix base, metacrafting only works with two prefixes (or two suffixes, if removing prefixes). The forced metacrafting method from my multimod guide doesn't work either, as it requires two free suffixes and it's not possible to roll that with just penetration through fossils since rare items always roll atleast four affixes. It would've worked after regaling your magic base, but sounds like it's too late for that now.

A Topotante's Tiger Hook would work, but there's only a single one listed in Glacier League. It's either too rare or people just don't bother with it.

You can try adding in Aetheric Fossils, but it's only really worth it if you go all out until you hit two bases with pen and T1 ele damage. 3 Socket Resonators are currently cheaper than 2 Socket ones because most of this leagues meta fossilcrafts only require two fossils, but Aetheric Fossils are pretty expensive, assumingly because of ED/Vaal Skill Bows and CoC/CwC weapons.

If you don't wanna invest too much and don't care about missing a little bit of damage, and also do want to finish your weapons before the next millenium then the best way would be just using 1 Socket Resonators with Metallic Fossils and annul down to just penetration. The process is laid out in my multimod crafting guide.
