" I just got a Devouring Diadem as well. I am not sure what I should put my 6 extra points in. I was looking for some suggestions if anyone can throw some ideas out.

Item Level: 85 -------- 6% Chance to Block Attack Damage -------- 27% increased Attack Speed Gain 12% of Elemental Damage as Extra Chaos Damage Damage Penetrates 8% Elemental Resistances 51% increased Spell Damage (crafted) -------- Shaper Item Hey guys, I just managed to craft this dagger. I got extra chaos and penetration T2 and regal gave me T1 attack speed. I know that i should look only for T1 Mod, but this one look pretty good to me.. Do you think its a good idea to multicraft (flat damage + hybrid spell damage/chaos) or should i start from scratch. Last edited by Jomosmo on Mar 27, 2019, 12:50:10 PM

Hi guys. Just bought this dagger for 5c and im kinda confused since idk what's the best mod there to add.. I can add spell dmg (45-54%) or lightning dmg to spells (3-9 to 106-112) via crafting bench, what's the best? Also is it worth to waste 4c on one of this crafts or i should aim for lower numbers on them?

" You should learn to use Path of Building and compare. You will always be sure what is better or worst in terms of DPS.
Anyone have any suggestions for me? Can't kill uber elder for the life of me.
(I don't know how to post hear here--if someone can shoot me a note on how to do that, I will do that.)
" What is your life and energy shield? I took a quick look into your gear and it looks like it is very low. I would say that you need at least 5000 hp (preferably more) and 3000 energy shield. Also, you wasted a slot in your dagger with attack speed, which doesn't add any damage to Arc, all it does is make your Whirling Blades faster. I would look for a gear with more maximum life and maximum energy shield until you get a decent amount of it. The Uber Elder fight is a lot more knowing the mechanics than anything else, but having a decent amount of defense and damage makes it a lot easier. This build is easily one of the best, most comprehensive, and easily followed (even for a newbie) guides that I have seen for POE.
Much props! THANK YOU! | |
" Everyone seems to suggest trying to get the attack speed precisely to make whirling blades as quick as reasonably possible. The only other option I had was +15% Lightning Damage which didn't seem to result in a huge DPS increase when I plugged it into PoB (presumably because additive, but maybe I screwed up there). Health is ~4200, ES is ~1900 (with aura active, per PoB). So, yeah, apparently low, especially on the ES side of things. Not sure where to give up stats in order to get it since I blew every piece of currency I had on the daggers though, heh. (Just started toward the end of the last league). " Crafting daggers will definitely exhaust your currency. I just finished my first one. I would recommend taking a look at my sai for an idea of what the optimal mods are for maximizing damage. Don't worry about your daggers right now, though--they will serve you well, and the boost to your movement speed is not a waste by any means. Your big issues for survivability are that you're missing good flat +life on three important pieces (ring, boots, amulet) and you have sacrificed a LOT of ES by using boots and gloves that don't have high base values. Look at Enki's gear guide for the item types you should be looking for; this was not important with the 3.5 build, since we weren't particularly worried about any of the base stats on armor items (i.e. energy shield, armor, or evasion). That has changed for this version, and we need to think about it differently. (That also means looking for +% ES mods on boots and gloves and +% maximum ES mod on amulet). With all the life and ES multipliers provided by your passives, you can easily gain 300-400 ES and life by replacing those items. I know it sucks to hear that after spending so much time and so many resources carefully calibrating your gear, but the fundamentals are really critical here. |

" In my opinion those stats are quite low for Uber Elder fight, but it really depends in how good you are fighting it. I would just skip the fight and improve your gear a little bit more. The daggers are fine, by the way. Not optimal by any means, but they are good enough for 99% of the content in the game. |
