Can someone help me with a gearing question please? Im currently using a 318 dps Lioneye's Glare and I was wondering what DPS Harbinger I would need to be worth replacing it.

In this test, my 359 pdps LG compares more or less to a 290 pdps harbinger. So yours would be similar to a 260 pdps harbinger. I'd say aim for 310-320 pdps to see a very sensible boost (around 20% more).

When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch? If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Watching witches watch watches is not for the faint of heart... |

Ah! That helps out immensely, thank you very much. Ill have to see how much accuracy I have before switching, though.

" I heartily recommend a Rat's Nest with a +1 Secondary Tornado Shot Projectiles enchantment. Edit: just looked up the price of such a helm in standard. Holy shit. I still think it's worth it though. Last edited by turfsmurf#5055 on May 21, 2016, 5:54:18 AM

What about other enchants? tshot crit/damage and ice golem buff sounds great :D

" There is almost no downside for enchanting your gear. so yes, enchant away. Even a poor enchant is "better" then no enchant. the downsides are: lowlevel twink gear. Enchants can add item levels to gear. A level 60 enchant can ruin a level 1 leveling item. you can't control procs on some of the glove enchants. not likely to kill you.. but still a chain+reflect from word of Fury may not be ideal. Or, dealing cold or fire damage, when you don't want to. again, doesnt mean much for a bow build, but might for an elem equilibrium. |

" I haven't done the math and can only speak from experience with the +1 TS enchant. I run with the incr. critical strikes gem in my gear, so crit% enchants (TS crit of ice golem crit) are not as interesting for me. Maybe crit enchants might be better if your chance to crit with tornado shot is below 85%? Perhaps +1 TS subprojectiles are more interesting if you run a 100% pierce setup to hit all the monsters in on the screen when you don't have chain to do that for you. |

Edit: And frakenberry is an awesome person! Thanks a ton for multimodding my bow for me!
Also I have about 14 ex to spend, would appreciate some input on where I should upgrade gear, preferably in the most efficient way possible. Last edited by Mythologick#3245 on May 22, 2016, 3:15:05 AM

Hello Archers!
turnadoo is my first serious character and I have just been able to generate some few exalts. Is somebody out there who can give me suggestions on my build? What should be the priority of further investments? 6link chest, Harbinger, +1 tornado shot Rat's Nest, Taste of Hate? Anything else I am missing? (res capped, 4000+ life) I would be very glad to get some help! |

obvious stuff:
- boots with 30 ms, high life and dual/tri res (or Atziri's steps, which you have). - res capped with 164 or even 169% in hideout to counter ele weakness. Jewel slots help sensibly here. - 4500 life at least (currently running with 5300 in PSC). - Amulet and quiver are offensive slots, they really need high crit multi, then crit chance and/or flat phys roll. - 20q your gems. Yes you will have to relevel them but the quality bonus add up and provide sensible boost in the end, typically ~40% increased damage. It's like 10-15% more. optional: - 6L chest sure is fine but you can still level for some time with 5L. I went to 93 or 94 iirc with two 5L on my phys archer. - your lioneye's glare is a very high roll. You will need at least a 330 pdps harbinger to get a worthy upgrade. - taste of hate: a good boost but a basalt flask provide a similar protection. - nice enchant on helmet: totally optional. The odds to get the right one are abysmal, and a good enchant is very expensive and may lock you on one skill, which isn't very desirable on a phys archer, imho. But well, if you're sure you'll stick on TS, feel free to try to grab a rat's nest with +1 proj. Ranger builds list: /917964 When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch?
