For a 5L, why do we run Chain over PPAD or some other gem? I understand that the chain can come back and hit the same target, but I'm feeling like the damage boost from the other gems helps me AOE-clear much faster and reliably. Can anyone offer their oppinion(s) on this? Thanks! With LA, if you have the hit 2 additional target enchant along with deadeye you can get rid of chain altogether. I'm currently using 5L PPAD with +1 chain and clears are okay right now as well. I guess it's a matter of personal preference and how much your damage is compared to how much aoe coverage you need. If you can't kill mobs in 2-3 shots with chain then PPAD might be better instead. Chain is mostly used for full and additional offscreen coverage. Hi, level 87 Raider here, struggling to up my dps, TS only is 14k dps ( not counting charges, etc...) 3.7k hp with 12.3K Evasion. Resistances Capped.
