Herald of Ash is useless for a fire witch, it doesn't increase fire spells power neither add its AOE blow effect. I like to play fire witch, with Scorching Ray, FireStorm and Fire Golem. Why try to restrain witch to cold, lighting spells and summoner ? Vendor offer only Herald of Ice and Herald of Thunder to witch. Fire spells are great, we need Herald of Ash that improve fire spells.

Anger and Wrath are way better than Heralds could ever be, but Hatred only applies to one Cold Spell. I guess GGG really doesn't want Witches to use Cold Spells right :/
You don't need Herald of Ash to be a Fire caster. Last edited by Vipermagi on Aug 23, 2017, 1:31:52 PM

change it back to an ignite so its not a bottom tier vendor trash item - it used to be good.

The Overkill burn should be allowed to apply to spells as well, since there are Physical spells like EK that can use Herald of Ash.

" Seems it does now.I wonder what the potential is for it,think of going straight for something that benefits it. | |
Flameblast is the obvious choice, or Discharge. Big single-hit Skills that scale with Radius as well (Herald of Ash's area is small). The stupid amounts of Overkill on trash should have a decent impact on Rares, and somewhat increases coverage.

So would Herald of Ash overkill burn proc with an ignite prolif such as discharge?
Edit: Also, would supporting Herald of Fire with skills such as Burning Damage, or Swift Affliction, increase the damage the Overkill Burn does? Last edited by PhreEkGarden on Mar 3, 2018, 6:04:49 PM

is the "More Burning Damage" a global multiplier?
