Anyone else think racing as it stands is lame and repetitive?

example: combine a less played class with an 'easy' build - lets say play a Templar with ST. Or a marauder at traps...
I cant swere those can make you win (its indeed less variation than in the 'regular' game), but those decisions HAVE impact on your progress and expectable results.

because its the only way to NOT force you into a predefined 'setup' (or a bunch of them) for each class: or how else would you imagine to start in act 3 normal or even on strand/cruel just with a single (or even some) unleveled skill gems and no supports? maybe even with a plain white 3-socket weapon...? have fun!

How is that different from normal races, which basically have a predefined setup (best course of action)? Answer: it's not. In fact starting later by definition gives more options, since you are higher level (there are more gems available immediately). So it's the exact opposite of what you're saying.

for the topic's question:
*it is repetetive, yes (but even would be with a late/upgraded start). thats the nature of these games...
*its sometimes stressing and sometimes boring, but lame?
if you dont do it for the fun, nor for the rewards, just dont do it. ;)

They can start you with uniques like descent champions, pre-leveled gems, and skill books for points.

How many are coming in first in races without leap slam and alt f4? How long have we been running that same race now?
It's not lame when you win. Kappa
