[2.2] Fyndel´s LL BM or Mana Spectralthrow - UPDATED FOR ASCENDANCY

Wouldnt Wrath Fang be a better dagger due to crown of eyes increasing TOTAL ATTACK damage (increases the phys AND the ele from auras) instead of just having higher phys with loath bane?

if not, explain why pls :>

wrath fang gives more tooltip dps yeah. But it's currently at the point where elemental reflect is dangerous because compared to loath bane, there is too much dps that is shifted from physical to elemental. Most people use loath bane right now for better leech.

I finally made it, started from lvl 71, it wasn't that hard! (if you have some gear)


A basic report:

At 71 I had around 10k dps (full charges). Now I'm 79 with shitty jewelery and prism shield. 18,7k dps and 5,5k ES.

I'm using lgoh for now because colours and level, I think I'll get lust for carnage around lvl 92. Also, I could have way higher tooltip dps if I had gone crit multi instead of crit chance, but I chose crit chance for higher flask uptime, more consistant dmg and faster power charge generation when having none.

Next nodes are the adder's touch ones, which will bost dps significantly.

don't bother with logh, just spam your flasks. Lust for carnage is very optional when using ST, but it's really useful for wander.

I played with flubby build before 1.2 and i had about 44k dps.
now i crafted better dagger , started this build with the same gear i have and i got 29k dps
what am i doing wrong?

Right now is a colours issue. Once I gather some chromes and feel comfortable I'll change the lgoh gem.

About the lust for carnage, I'm pretty confused. ST cost is way lower, so should be a better candidate for the carnage wheel than wander.

Also, the times I have need to swap lgoh for LL (ele reflect+ -max res) gameplay was a bit chunky. I don't know what I'll do yet. I need to play more without it to decide.

I'm new to the build, but I think I can answer that one. Your old dagger had spell dmg (and slightly more crit, but the main reason is the spell dmg), which increases all dmg (phys and ele one). Even when using loath bane, most dmg is still elemental.
The thing this build has over flubby's one, is that having phys damage allows you to skip life leech gem thanks to bloodrage. That extra gem you save is what makes the difference in terms of dps.

with the old dagger im getting now about 20k dps , the new dagger is better.
I cant really understand why the dps is so low, right now i want to keep 2 green on chest becuase of second build i run but the extra green gem wont add me ~15k dps.

The 3rd gem is huge - generally I go with a lvl21 Faster Attack gem. The whole point of pdps on dagger is to allow that gem in place of LL gem.

yeah but before 1.2 i had 44k dps without this gem and with lower dps dagger.
