Yup. It's a spectral throw race balance adjustment... which was strongly hinted at by Chris in one of the videos from the past week.

It's the same skill at level 20 as it has been.

True. With no one dies, no item go out, wealth accumulated forever, economy will be ruined. The rich get richer, new players will be fucked up in SC.



Its like that in every single game, rich get richer and new players will never reach rich players if they play the same amount.
72% of player base play in new leagues anyway...

Multiple sources of damage leech no longer stack, instead only the attack/spell that caused the most damage to be leeched as life is used.

So imagine a player using cast on crit with multiple spells and an attack all linked with life leech. Before, all damage the attack and spells would have leeched applied together. Now, it will only use the attack/spell that dealt the most damage. Or, in the case of DPS, whichever source of leech is providing the most life recovery.

I imagine this also applies to damage leech that is happening in conjunction with other skills. So if you leech off a vaal molten shell hit while also leeching from your main attack skill, the molten shells leech will be ignored if it isn't larger than the leech provided by your main attack.

If only they offered some sort of fresh league where new players could start on even ground with all of the existing players. Too bad they haven't thought of that.
