Elemental Buzzsaw & Static Strike - Solo the entire game, quickly and cheaply 1.1.0 update

I love the 6th link. Think i would use a tabula and try to 6L a belly.

With my gear, I've realized that by 84 the weakest part of the build is the down-time between the initial hit, and the static explosion. This causes the melee monsters to do a large chunk of health (upwards to 60% if it's an unlucky crit/Rare) so I'll be going for the flat 40% phys damage reduction of the Lightning Coil.

I think this is better over the ~600-700HP gain for me personally.

I have been surviving 76 maps quite well, but to progress any further, I think a better chest is in order.

24,680 DPS right now. (This was from 24,200 one gem level lower.) With 20/21s, and 3 more Ele Damage nodes, I would expect to be somewhere near 27/28k.

Gear:
I will be replacing the Necklace and waist with higher rolls (and 30+ Lightning on Necky to stay near 100% for Lightning Coil ele weakness/etc) when I finally achieve a 5R1G 6L, which will be a VERY LONG time from now, unless I somehow get 6S and a 6L within a couple dozen Jewels/Fuse.

I will also be changing flasks when I get there. I may not need the Jade, or Granite, so I will be changing up accordingly.

Ele buzzsaw looks really strong this league, and much more viable thanks to crit nerf. I'm currently at just under 10k dps with a 5 link and lv 19 wrath and anger, and fairly average foil. If I get an rrrb alphas, I can empower wrath and anger even making it stronger. Using a slightly different tree, which I feel works much better:

You just need level20 gems in an Alphas and reasonable gear.

Cute. Not only did you change from a 2.09 APS foil to a 2.13 foil but it also seems you've got someone else's Haste aura on in that pic.

My 2.09 APS foil, using the 'standard' tree gets 3.8 APS with a 20/20 LMP (and I have a 10.6k tooltoip using a 5L with no LL). In that pic you linked your Offence screen is showing 4.9 APS [!!!!] and you still don't have 10k DPS.

So that's a no then. I asked as I too have a 2.09 foil, same as you were talking about in your original post. However you moved the goalposts. so it's now bad info.

No haste aura, my tree is different, I am a different person from the person u replied to if u bothered to check, and my foil has much less elemental damage but only a bit more attack speed. If I had his foil, I'd have far more damage. My spectral throw IS using a life leech. Don't make up things when theres no evidence. I have no haste aura. This is the build that I run. The last "aura" is herald of ice. My tree is different, and I have a lot of attack speed nodes, as well as faster attacks gem linked:

So, just want some help. I'm running a 5l chest and can't decide between faster attacks, weapon elemental dmg or life leech as the 5th (until i get 6L).

DPS is around 3k tooltip. So fairly low, but im only level 62.
Any advice is appreciated :D

I have been greatly enjoying this build! The leveling process was one of the smoothest that I have ever experienced. I don't think I died at all in Normal or Cruel. Getting a 2.13 attack/s sword was probably the best decision to make in the leveling process. At the moment I can do 66 maps pretty easily at lvl 65. I know a 5th and 6th link, and HoT are gonna make things way easier though.

I plan on taking more life, then Inner Force, then the rest of the Shadow starting ele dmg.

Right now I'm sitting at ~3000 life, ~8500 EV, ~1950 dps, ~30% movespeed

My next upgrade is gonna be a Tabula Rasa, followed by a lvl 20 reduced mana so I can run HoT. I know my jewelry can be a lot better too so getting WED, life and capped resists on all of that is on the agenda too.

My final gem setup is going to be:

3L: Leap Slam + Faster Attacks + Blood Magic (movement skills are insane with this much attack speed!)

3L: CwDT + Enduring Cry + Immortal Call

4L: Reduced Mana + Anger + Wrath + HoI

4L: HoT + Curse On Hit + Elemental Weakness + Reduced Mana

4L: Vaal Spectral Throw + GMP + LGoH + Blood Magic

6L: Spectral Throw + Blood Magic + Life Leech + LMP + WED + Faster Attacks
