Elemental Buzzsaw & Static Strike - Solo the entire game, quickly and cheaply 1.1.0 update
So I already had a level 80 ranger so when passives reset I decided to go with ranger instead of scion for the build.

Currently that's my level 82 build. My next 5 levels will go towards more health (i'm already at 4700 but more is good). I'll be taking the small life/strength wheel above scion next to influence. After that i'll use my next 3 levels on either 9% attack speed or 24% elemental damage that is located down towards Ondar's Guile. I was using life over Ondar's before but since switching I find that Ondar's Guile really is amazing so I'll be keeping that for sure. Gear (just crafted this sword, stoked!)

With that gear my stats are: 13,057 dps 4952 life 7486 evasion 84/77/84 resists -23% chaos resist (edited for changed build, fixed a few things) IGN : Futons Last edited by Futon on Mar 7, 2014, 3:11:50 AM

Any particular suggestion for leveling when starting from the SHADOW starting point?
I'm bored of the Scion looks, the Shadow is so much more badass. Have you noticed any issues with stats when playing shadow? p.s. something like 30 points -60 points- 90 points even for Shadow or Ranger would be awesome, also because the old links don't work anymore and even if I made a char previously following your leveling guide, I don't remember the exact order :) Last edited by cloudscraper on Mar 6, 2014, 1:58:48 PM

" Same question for Witch, would really help a lot... Anyone familiar with the build feel free. |

" I don't play shadow but if I did this is how I would start.

Basically I go right for the mana reduction nodes so I can start using wrath/anger/haste as soon as possible. Then I would end up here

And after that I would be going for more health and probably ondar's guile and the attack speed nodes down in the ranger area.

Been looking at other classes and just don't think I see it as enough benefit compared to scion still.
Here's another rework of Scion that doesn't take the wheel of life approach. Ends with good life and a little less attack speed than my previous (so more life/mana, less attack). But not less attack speed than any of the other builds posted (ranger, shadow builds) Again, based on level 88. for level 80 I'd probably take away the evasion/life on the right and some combination of projectile damage/attack speed in the ranger area. Saw some flaws in that build unless you value mana. You gain a good chunk of life + 14 chaos resist. You gain 30% stun avoidance, 2% attack speed, 20 dex, 30% block recovery, and 20 intellect. You lose 16% projectile damage but I value surviability>damage. IGN : Futons

" In order to start using auras you need to go straight for the reduction nodes.

" Actually, I don't believe Finesse is worth the reach. I am not sure heart of oak is needed either. My reasoning was that stun is generally from fast projectile attacks but that's nullified by Ondar's. Also, I allocate 1% life regen on the left side of the tree since I think that's the part of heart of oak I miss and then the 2nd passive could go towards 6%life/8%mana. Also, I am on the fence about reaching for Purity of Flesh. The Chaos resist is nice but we can hit more with 1 node using Clear Conscious. Since the life nerf it is a nice life cluster though. Mana is a bonus. And actually I do toss my IIR spectral throw off mana (ST - LMP - Culling - IIR). I added the evasion/life nodes on the right since I took away the nodes leading to sentinel. Again, this isn't the spec I'm currently running. The one I posted before is the one I have allocated right now. Either way the build works great and allows for these choices in personal preference.
