Just a quick and dirty thought experiment of what starting this kind of build as a Shadow might look like. Very very rough but I'd like to know if I'm even close to the right track? There's a lot of useful nodes very close to the basic path sketched out, but I'm used to the Scion version so there's going to be a lot of min-maxing as Shadow to get it to come out just right.

Thoughts/suggestions?

Possible end-game style. The aura nodes are pretty important, so I wound my way to those. I sacrificed some of the side groups that you had grabbed, like the Revenge of the Hunted evasion and life wheel on the right side. Overall, I think my changes make it more end-game viable, as a lot of your damage and survivability comes from running multiple auras.

Too many points wasted getting meagre spell dmg nodes. Also, keep in mind that %ES nodes will only boost the mana portion gained from EB conversion. 8% mana nodes are better any day. Also, Mind over matter + arctic armor gives a lot of dmg reduction. So, I'd focus on getting plenty of mana regen to compensate for this rather than rushing for 10% evasion nodes.

Am I missing something? I don't see an updated tree.

I have to say I do like that for a shadow build. I had something similar planned but I like your version better. Only thing I think I might change is dropping elemental adaption and shifting the link above, this saves two points, which lets you pick up the elemental resist with shields just to the left. It's 20% resist all and a bit of block and boosted shield defenses. Depends on if you need the resists I guess.

Yes it does save a point but the 2% extra max resist will be more useful in endgame when u have overcapped resist. Might be good to go with the resist from shield till gear gets perfect.
Using the skill tree shown in ZiggyD's video, I've recreated his build in the old and new passive calculators.

Here's an exact copy of his old recreated in the new tree:
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgABCGeTOr0nGDz56ILHKPpBh7c-_gryRTrhplcxnojxNZK18m6qSsg_JypNFSDr7nqqmuBFnbiTDH0Qf8aepwja3Y9G0NDPZVXGHRT60hcvZOdV1oCkNunjamaecU2az0NjtzFY9Z3EwBqQVaeEGjjsODrYTdiMdp48gW8EsxRNogBX4fllIcOQ1rfW21ktqLGQgwlGceGIHaq0DJMnHNx_xi-dFvMmPKKjwfOCHtsLEZZwu9kTL28s6d0N_MVnoId2Sn1br04qKaUY23TxhTLcVx6UrD9N4_6P

And here's a copy that moves two points to offset the Scion life wheel nerf in 1.10
http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgABCGeTOr0nGDz56ILHKPpBh7c-_gryRTrhplcxnojxNZK18m6qSsg_JypNFSDr7nqqmuBFnbiTDH0Qf8aepwja3Y9G0NDPZVXGHRT60hcvZOdV1oCkNukkqhmF42pmnnFNms9DY7cxWPWdxMAakFWnhBo47Dg62E3YjHaePIFvBLMUTaIAV-H5ZSHDkNa31ttZLaixkIMJRnHhiB2qtAyTJxzcf8YvnRbzJjyio8Hzgh7bCxGWcLvZEy9vLOndDfzFZ6CHdkp9W69OKimlGNt08YUy3FcelKw_

To offset some life nerfs, I've moved two 6% nodes from the Scion life wheel to the slightly better 8% nodes just south of the Steady Hands keystone in the far NW of the tree. You can always take those 6%ers early on and move them later for a slight buff.

Here are a couple of images highlighting the 2 moved nodes:

Below are the stats of the build in 1.6 (old) vs the build in 1.10 (new). There have been nerfs to Mana Regen and Max Life Increase, and a very small bump in spell damage.

Hopefully this is helpful to some of you waiting for an updated build.

not advisable to take MoM until u can handle the mana drain. EK already takes a shitload of mana to cast. I took MoM at around lvl 40 then respeced out of it and grabbed it again at lvl 60.
