There is very little reason to play anything but their races/4 month leagues.. Sorry GGG not even remotely as excited as you are by your "challenge leagues". SC/HC are just dumping grounds and you're not helping anything by having ridiculously over powered legacy unique.

Also, despite the obvious mishaps you're trying to prevent I should be able to reduce my 4-link to 2x 2-link if I want to. I'm hoping you'll add an option to do this.

That's my gripe. It isn't the fact that they nerfed shields or buffed 2-handed damage that is actually making me want to play a two-handed spec again.. Its spectral throw, a new skill. This is how you should balance a game, by offering better/newer alternatives. Not *nerfing* other builds. I really, really hate games that "balance" through nerfing. I'm giving this game and amazing company (so far) the benefit of the doubt.
As a primarily solo-play Summoner that basically acts as an aura/curse generator for my summons, I'm more than a bit concerned about the (seemingly) massive mana increase for auras (as it took me quite some time to build up a big enough pool to be able to run 5 auras), however, we'll see what the actual product looks like once the tree is accessible. Can't say I'm particularly excited to have the large number of legacy items, either. Hopefully I don't regret supporting!

The Resplendent mod can no longer spawn on shields.
All shield defences have been reduced by 17%.

2 handers = new facebreaker, albeit without shield ... in terms of dos is what i mean, and comparing facebreaker to RT 2 handed builds

facebreaker before .... with abyssus you could get a max of 135 damage - 60 abyssus + 20 meginord + 55 rings and amu, theres x-x physi from iron rings and quivers and foxshade too i know but noone with half a brain uses those.

so thats 135 x 11 = 1485, most ppl use BOR tho cuz abyssus sucks, so less than that for an average build

(everything else stays the same, conc effect, and mpd / mdofl and mstrike and skill's damage effectiveness ... these variables dont change from unarmed to weapon builds)

but now fb is nerfed, i would say its in the region of 600-700% more max range. just an educated guess

so 135 x 8 = 1080

The new 2 handers, again my guess, would get an average of 700 physical easily. I would say the new ranges for a perfect karui maul / imperial staff / karui chopper are something like 500-900

so 900 max, except 2 handers get tons more melee physical damage than unarmed builds from the skill tree ... the 2 handed and weapon specific nodes apply too
Worst patch ever GG GGG. I guess I will free some space from my ssd for matlab.

And here we have it. 90 pages of testimonials about how bad this patch is, from 90 pages of people that haven't played with any of the changes.
