It's great...

Except top 5 is only achievable for leap slam duelists. Sure everyone can decide to play duelist and have a chance to win, but obviously the top 5 is more likely to consist of people who always played duelist in the past. Might as well have been a "shadow only" race.

How to fix for the future if leap slam doesn't get nerfed:
Ban leap slam from these kinds of races and there will be 3 or 4 different classes in top 5 and the competition will be even better.

Agreeed should of just made it a "duelist only" race for this. Nevertheless i am happy you guys are getting a good marketing boost as this game does need to be known more.

Here's my feedback, which I'm sure is going to be mighty unpopular:

You have 4 races, with 4 prizes going to the combined top 5. What you should have done is split the prizes among the 4 races so that each race's top 5 would have won a different item. Once a player hit top 5 in a race, they are disqualified from winning any further prize.

Why? Because as it stands the only people who are going to win the grand prize are the usual "no-lifes" (no disrespect intended) who are able to get up early in the morning and play the game all day. You're just gonna see the same people win the prize that you see come top 5 in every other damn race and have already racked up half of the 1000 points in Season 4. For the rest of us who don't have the time or the want to master the game, we're left out as usual and our best hope is that random raffle once we hit a certain level.

If you really wanted to increase the level of competition, you would have done it as I stated above and opened up the top spots for other people to have a chance at. For example, I'm only able to participate in one of these races, but because I already lose by default I'm only gonna limp along to level 15 instead of give my all. I'm sure most people have done the same.

It's a damn shame you could've had something good here but it became another "reward the elite and fuck the rest" scenario.

I mean do you really think that someone that is not currently a top racer was going to win top 5? Lets count the people in the top that did not do all the races:

1st place - cwu - He did the first two races
2nd place - me - I did the first two races
3rd place - Choi - He did them all iirc
4th place - Goratha - Also did them all
5th place - grindis - He did the first two races


Only two of the top 5 did all the races. Also, if Goratha didn't break top 5, Helman would have been 5th, and he also only did the first two races. Your "point" doesn't really hold any weight as it does not make a difference in who will be on top. There is a small pool of 10-15 players that had the potential, and the players that play the most or have the best runs OUT OF THOSE PLAYERS will win the prize.

Skill comes first, but skill also comes from playing a lot.

4th Goratha
5th Grindis

And ontopic: Hahaha, then why don't we ban cleave too.
Choi was a leapslam shadow, hmm? Previous 1h record before those races was bzmode 1,479,047, which is only 100K short of top5 here - done by guess what - leapslam ranger, hmm?
And also they can ban maphack too, you know...

With cleave you need insane rng to get close to white geared leap slam farming speed.

I think witch should be OP for once. Every class has been OP at one point like ground slam marauder, ele cleave templar, poison arrow ranger/shadow, now duelist leap slam.

My suggestion is a new passive node above the big area node that gives +1 to all area gems that are inside wands. :/ I had to learn to play duelist to enter these roccat races to have an even .1% chance at top 5.
