Strugling to get the 3rd red on my chest piece as you can imagine. So i just chucked on culling for now~
How important is the damage on full life gem for the build? How much of a difference are we talking?

Hi bud, Tombfist is really good, even with 1 Abyss socket - however it depends on the type of Abyss jewel you can find - I got one that adds 8-133 lightning damage so it already outstrips Thunderfists and both have 10% aps.

Culling Strike is good, also check out Ice Beat or Faster Attacks.

Nice gear, I recommend you find a better dagger with more crit chance if you can. Upgrade Soul Hold to a ring with life, flat lightning / % ele damage, and some res. I can't see your flasks but make sure you are usign Diamond flask, Wise Oak, Silver, Atziri's Promise if you can.

xD Why do you guys like putting Added Lightning on HoT? It is not affecting your LS DPS, all it does is affect the HoT beams that strike nearby enemies which is not that great, and it is increasing your mana reserve way too much. You should have Empower if you can on the auras and Enlighten too.

Damage on Full Life is very good, it's about 300-400k DPS (fully buffed) depending on your setup, or about 1/3rd of the total fully buffed DPS. If you don't like Damage on Full Life - feel free to use another gem instead like Ele Focus (for T15+), Slower Projectiles or Inc. Crit Damage.

Great build, 300-400K dps, bosses are the easiest i had since started playing since closed beta.

Still a shame we can't use block, eva, dodge like old days.

Voidwalker are really nice boots - Lightning Strike's pierce was changed so you need high pierce to get nice AOE for clearing mobs. For bosses having pierce is not completely necessary and Wake of Destruction can be used for very high damage.

Also it gives 20% chance to avoid projectiles. This applies to both attacks and spells. Avoid is a mechanic like EV, Dodge, and Block. This is really good because defense-wise this build (most EV builds) are going to struggle with spells, and if you are ranged most spells hitting you are going to be projectiles. So having 20% chance to avoid projectiles helps a lot. If I pop Vaal Grace my spell dodge is going to be maxed out close to 75%, so this 20% will apply on top of that so I have 0.25 x 0.8 = 20% chance of taking spell damage.

You can combine this with the Pantheon boost Arachnoxia 10% chance to avoid projectile damage. I'm not 100% sure if they stack 20% + 10% = 30% chance to avoid projectiles, because the wording for Voidwalker's is a little different (projectiles) from the wording for Arachnoxia (projectile damage), but I believe they do stack 20% + 10% = 30%.

Lastly, I found not many people are using Voidwalker so it was dirt cheap xD.

You can still use block, EV, dodge, blind like the old days - aye, I've seen a few new builds like this but your DPS will be low and this is only really necessary if you are playing in melee range.

Here's my PvP variation of OP's build.
I maintain both physical damage and elemental damage. Also CI version is great in PvP as blight builds and death's oath opponents feed me charges and leech. The physical component to lightning strike is quite threatening. Tooltip dps will hurt as it's harder to scale up the phys when there are so many generous sources of elemental damage buffs. But, your opponents will feel it as soon as their cwdt immortal call and shroud of the lightless buff is gone. Try leaving out Phys to Light gem and Winter Spirit, in order to maintain this physical component. Against all but the toughest tanks (e.g. markusz with 200k+ armour), anything and everything is sliced and diced.

Have you tried combining wiht Point Blank node? Do you have trouble maintaining the right distances or its alright? Can't wait to test this weekend, although I think for PVE I might prefer to stay at range xD. How's it feel on HOGM?

Thanks for getting back to me! Guess I'll have to shop around for the gloves then! Might have to to browse around until i find a 1 slotter i can afford with a good jewel!

xD indeed about the Added Lightning! I will be looking for empower and enlightned to pair up with the auras. Will have trouble with the slots though... my current void walkers are not of color so this it's going to be diffucult.

I really want to give DMG on full life but struggling with getting the right sockets with my 6L, used allll the chromes with no luck haha!

In terms of flask currently using all those flasks minus oak as my lightning res isnt the highest.

I will look towards a new dagger and ring for now, what do you think about the belt and chest? Should I look for something else as well?

You can use this calculator: https://siveran.github.io/calc.html to improve your chances to chrome that chest (or just buy cheap corrupted with right colors :)). With chrome spam it shows that you will need on average 6500 chromes, but if you will use Vorici 2R1B craft - about 3000. Note that 6k chromes cost the same as 6linked belly of the beast, so I'd suggest to forget about this and save currency for belly instead :)

Wow! Thanks for the quick maths! I actually was honestly thinking of getting belly of the beast! Save me some HP troubles!

So now for PVE chest colours should be: 1 green, 4 red, 1 blue? And we change elemental focus/lightning penetration for ancestral call?

Maybe you can share your profile? Also isn't lightpoacher useless versus bosses? I mean no charges are generated. And it's not clear why shroud is better than say belly of the beast?
