ELE LIGHTNING STRIKE - ALL T16s, Shaper, Uber Atziri, HOGM, Chayula, Elder
" Lol, thanks bro can give new passive for use AA legacy to me ? please |

" Hi bud, just use the original tree that does not have Vaal Pact because that tree has the highest DPS and ofc just use an Atziri flask or a VoV and you'll be fine! |

" Hi mate, thanks for checking the build. Yes I would say this build is beginner friendly because, like most elemental builds, it still works great without expensive gear and the leveling is also quite easy with lightning strike. It is a range build as well which is quite beginner friendly (PS: hold SHIFT + attack button to attack in place). LS is great for mapping due to it having such good in-built AOE. Three things that may give beginners trouble: 1. we are evasion-based and rely on EV and dodge. So just being aware of what bosses are using spells vs. attacks and also timing of Vaal Grace can make things much easier 2. this is meant to be played as a range build and having good movement will help cut down on damage - i.e. using whirling blades to avoid lots of damage. The thing about PoE is most attacks and spells are not homing projectiles and don't have crazy fast travel time - so as long as you keep moving at angles to the direction of damage you can avoid A LOT of damage taken. 3. Wise Oak needs your uncapped light res to be the highest for you to get the lightning penetration from this flask. Choir of the Storm requires you to have high lightning res too for you to get as much crit chance from it as possible. Choir of the Storm is NOT mandatory, it is NICE but not completely necessary for this build. Just try and get an amulet (preferably Amber since we need strength) with flat lightning, % ele damage, life and res, or other damage mods like crit chance. Otherwise the build is relatively straightforward. It works just by getting flat lightning damage on dagger, gear, and auras, and then scaling this with support gem more multipliers, % inc. ele damage, frenzy charges, ele penetration, and crit. Then using lightning strike for its high base damage and AOE to deliver the payload supported by Multistrike for rapid ranged attacks. You could even make this as a cold or a fire lightning strike build instead, but it would not scale as well as going lightning xD. Hope this helps, feel free to ask more if it's not clear :D Last edited by Ceryneian#3541 on Dec 12, 2017, 2:49:31 PM

How many frenzy charges you have? I think i saw that someone wrote 7 in early pages but im not sure. I have 6 on 64 lvl is that all or im missing something?

If i were to use thundefists and make a 5 link for my lightning strike, what gems should i take?
LS, multi, ele damage-- and damage on full life, or ele pen as the last? |

I've seen a raider on the leaderboards using Lightning Strike on a 4L for clearing, and Molten Strike on a 6L for single-target. What do you think of this setup? Would it work with the current passive tree?
Also, how good is this against a (very popular atm) Frost Blades build? Is there an alternative for the shield slot? I just don't like how Lyconwhatnot looks. Ty! :) Last edited by Raikke#0266 on Dec 13, 2017, 3:51:00 AM

" Hi bud, yes I have 7 because I have an extra +1 on my Voidwalker. If you use the Vaal Pact tree then you can get another 1 on top of that for 8. And if you corrupt an amulet/Choir of Storm for another +1 you can get to 9. Last edited by Ceryneian#3541 on Dec 13, 2017, 4:07:27 AM

" Yes that's good and the last gem can be Ele Focus or Added Lightning. Please see Shock Tables section for more info on Ele Focus and when to use it |

" That's a very good setup because Molten Strike has ridiculous single target because all the projectiles can hit the same target, unlike LS, so just adding extra Molten Strike projectiles results in very high DPS gains. On the other hand LS is great for clearing and can be efficient even on a 4L because it does not require LMP or GMP etc. Soo it's a good setup however the downside is you will have to play in melee range for bosses when using single-target Molten Strike meaning you are going to take much more risk. Alternatively you can build phys lightning strike by focusing on the melee hit. Your projectiles will hvae OK DPS but if you focus on building the melee hit instead you can get some pretty ridicululous single target damage. Lycosidae aye, haha I don't like how it looks either, but you can skin transfer any other shield on top of it. I use Esh's Visage myself xD. Otherwise alternative shield is to just use a rare EV shield with some life and resistances and good EV. Last edited by Ceryneian#3541 on Dec 13, 2017, 4:19:20 AM
