0.11.2 Patch Notes
" I hear this from a bunch of people but I don't understand it. How have people been using life builds before the "recent" CI buffs? They obviously were, and even without Koam's. Life is stronger now than it was then with the monster damage reduction, so I don't understand how life is crippled and punished. I thought the only change is that CI is relatively stronger now. Everyone was using life before that happened and nothing else has changed, no? |____________ G . L . O . W . Y . R . M ____________|

" Kripparian is using ES, thats why Life is shit now. Most people also tend to ignore that while ES only gives you ES and nothing else, Life gives you a lot more like for example regen, posibility to stack auras, use it to cast spells, instantpots and you automatically get Armour/ER. But hey, Life should give the exact same amount ES gives right? |
|
Seems like most life-build players who went near the ranger tree will get a respec since they said they moved Gymnastics closer to the ranger starting area.

" the change to life and damage was a change to armour. how much armour does your character have without using a gran flask? |
|
" Life should not give the exact same amount as ES because of the extra benefits you have mentioned. People should be able to get more ES than life. That is still the case after this patch. The question is how much more ES should one have more than life. People shouldn't be able to get a ridiculous amount of ES while going CI versus the amount of life one can get from a life-based build. The patch balanced out the relative power of CI vs life-based build a bit. There may need additional tweaking in the future, but this is a step in the right direction in terms of balance. Run some calculations. CI wasn't nerfed that badly. It should be mandatory for players to have a high level character (88+) and have done the highest level content before they are allowed to post comments about end-game content, end-game balance, and what's "OP" Last edited by Athoy#5214 on Jul 15, 2013, 12:19:31 PM

A great patch, thanks GGG! Looking forward to a better Passive Skill Tree for the Rangers, as previously the only goal was to get out of it as fast as possible. I hope this one engages and makes me spend more time in the Ranger area and more importantly utilizes some great gaming dynamics.
But any downsides of releasing this in the middle of a one week race? |

That twitch integration is amazing!!
Definitely want the new micros! Also, I use Lightbane Raiment! Can't wait to see its new look! (hoping Templar's legs are covered) I'm excited to see the ranger updates, too! The change to the energy shield node might mean my witch gets a respec, too! Awesome work, GGG! |

And as usual, players who can't spend more than 15 hours a week on the game and get/buy gear which value several exalted are fucked. Great.

My ranger will be even more OP after the changes. That was so necessary, because sometimes he wasn't able to oneshot a boss. ;D
That so called CI nerf is just a joke and I'm unable to see why ppl rage that much. Nothing changes for CI builds. RT users (most of them are melees) will receive more reflect than currently and thanks to the IR changes melees will get another "nerf" too (of course not only melees). I really like how GGG never failed to show how much they hate melee chars. ;D "Yes, it is perfectly fair. It just sucks ass." posted by Thaelyn on 12.
