This guide is an inspiration for my prefered build after 3 years of playing POE also : the FB max block aka the "cleaner", because you can just clean everything out there. +1 to Shmoo37 btw, this thread feels like home ;) Just my two cents to improve your guide : - Discipline is now 35% mana reserved, not that it really makes it interesting for this build ;) - Punishment only triggers on melee hit, which makes it even more hard to trigger on you, tried it and vulnerability and vulnerability feels more consistent as an offensive curse with blasphemy Take care ! Yeah i'm back now ( 2 posts after the one you've quoted go in more details )
How it happened? I have 2 hypothesis: 1. My e-mail was breached ( actually my e-mail info got leaked from 4 different places ) thus the guy used the "forgotten pass" option in PoE to get my PoE account pass ( and my e-mail did not have phone verification too ) 2. Because from time to time i was accessing the forums from work it is possible that the work PC was not and isn't really malware free ( especially considering the fact that i've "inherit" it ) .. that's something that i never put any though into .. but no one takes care of the workplace PCs where i work. I've made a new e-mail that will be used exclusively for PoE ( now with a couple of levels of extra defenses ), changed all of my passwords, reinstalled my OS ( even though i've used several programs to check for any malware .. and there wasn't any.. i still run some anti-malware software ... pretty daily now ) and i won't access my PoE e-mail or PoE account from anywhere but my personal PC from now on. Hopefully all that prevents such events from happening in the future. In any case ... thankfully the guy didn't know that alt art Cloak of Flame and Heatshiver are worth more than what he stole ... so sadly i had to trade them in order to get the items that i've lost. First, sorry to hear you got hacked Korgoth :/ Your facebreaker build is the best and most detailed build i've ever read on this forum. It covers both sepcific facebreaker matters and more general advices, which really helped when I was a beginner. Thank you for everything, and especially the huge work you're doing there ! Now, I'd like to ask you a few advices for next league : with the upcoming changes for ascendancy classes, I really want to test the raider, because he can now get two 4-points branches. I will then pick ranger, facebreakers, and the frenzy skill. Thanks forward ! I pick as much evasion and life as possible, as well as frenzy charges. I would combine evasion with some dodge, block, and the enfeeble curse to lower ennemy accuracy, and maybe the upcoming unique chest (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Kintsugi) and a good life pool to survive the few hits that would pass through. I would also use Darkray Vectors (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Darkray_Vectors) to further benefit from the stacking of frenzy charges. Bandits would be Oak for life, passive skill point, and the frenzy charge. As for your tree, overall it looks ok to me though i have a couple of things to mention: 1. 6 passives spent to get to graceful assault is not exactly efficient if you ask me? 2. Why charisma ? For what do you need the 12% reduced mana reserved? and some advices: 1. Buy a Taste of Hate at all costs. With the lack of armour the hits that actually get past your other defenses will hurt ... a lot. In such cases a proper flask management and knowledge whn to use Taste of Hate will literally save your life. Combining it with a basalt flask does wonders for a character will low/no armour. 2. I'd still suggest picking up daresso's defiance. On top of the other goodies ( like extra dodge ) you'll have a way to constantly generate endurance charges - a vital part of your defenses especially when you lack armour. 3. Darkray Vectors are pretty awesome, though with them you'll move painfully slow in towns and hideouts ... not a big drawback i know, but an annoying fact because of which i just can't force myself to use the boots at all. 4. Keep in mind that Acrobatics gives you less block chance. Not such a big deal when you stack lots of dodge ( which of course you will and should do ), just a thing to mention. and a question: What ascendancy passives are you planning to get? In my opinion the Avatar of the Veil and the Avatar of the Slaughter are definitely the way to go - permanent phasing which means permanent onslaught(20% movement and attack speed) on top of that extra 28% movement speed and 10% spell dodge. Also you get 6% extra dodge chance, evasion, damage and attack speed bonuses, extra frenzy charge and more powerful frenzy charges ( including movement pseed bonus oer charge ) Lets say thay you'll end up with 9 frenzy charges, with raider and a 30% ms boots you'll end up with 96% movement speed ... which is quite a lot. maybe you could give a small look at my ice crash facebreaker Build :) maybe you have a hint for some tree notes or something else ;) all i want atm, are better rings with life and better facebreaker, with Curse Enemy on hit with Temp Chains or Ele Weakness. But im not sure wich would be better.
