" AFAIC the nodes/mods that read "X% Increased Melee Phyiscal Damage" already boost on-weapon and off-weapon damage. When you compare it to "x% Increased Physical Damage with Weapons/Swords/Bows" etc. it could make sense that the latter should only boost the on-weapon part. This was however not implemented in this fashion for the "X% Increased Elemental Damage" and "X% Increased Elemental Damage with Weapons" where both boosts both on-weapon and off-weapon dmg. TL;DR: From 0.11.1 "x% Increased [Damage Type] with [Method]" should be interpreted as "x% Increased [Damage Type] from any source if the damage is dealt by [Method]" [Method] could here be Spells, Weapons, Attacks, a specific weapon type, etc. [Standard league - UTC +2]

I must commend GGG on finally making it possible to evade shield charge. I hope it is also possible to evade rhoa charge, that will finally make my evasion chars desync safe in rhoa and charger areas!

Ok...im obviously not understanding the changes that are comming to the Melee Physical damage, so ill ask this in a simple way.
Im a facebreaker build Mara, and I intend to make a 2hander build when the new race starts, can someone explain to me in simpler terms what this patch does to said builds?...please? |

Im not getting it... lets take spark as example. damageeff. was 50%. Thats means that only 50% off the dmg applies. So if its not workin on itself anymore 100% will get applied. Meaning sparks dmg will double, which will result in making the game the cheese cake factory. Hope its not workin like that :P

I hope you guys are aware of the giant impact the phys dmg calculation changes with phys dmg on items (rings,amus etc.) will have in low level pvp. If i understand the patch notes correctly this will complete ruin low level pvp balance. I really hope im wrong about that, i will talk about that again tomorrow after i tested it...
