0.11.0 Patch Notes

To Chris and the guys at GGG, would it be possible to have a beta passive tree for upcoming big patches so we can take some time to plan our current build or make a new one?
I suspect it would keep some people from QQing too much aswell...

what's the point in nerfing the monsters and in the same time the player as well?!? if u nerf the monsters AND the player, doesn't the game difficulty stays the same? why do the changes at all then? makes no sense for me.

Hillock now correctly restores a percentage of his maximum life when he draws his sword. This life restoration increases in higher difficulties.

btw. is this intended that hillock isn't taking any dmg from hits 2-3 sec after he pulls the sword out of himself??

It makes perfect sense. lower monster damage, lower *passive* life node/ES nodes value. Base HP, +HP from gear etc remains the same.

The end result is EVERY builds reliance on every single possible HP/ES node is reduced substantially *AND* all armor nodes (without being touched) get a large buff due to how armor defense is calculated.

Its been the biggest gripe since open beta that (hardcore at least) characters need to pick up all the HP passives, and build everything else around that. Now you don't have to.

Inner force is no longer a mandatory 3 passive points as well. Its still useful, about as useful as any other 3 passives along your way. 2% max resist node is also still useful, but not clearly superior to every other node on the tree.

The melee buffs seem a bit excessive, when combined with the buffs to the melee supports at the same time (those buffs are exponentially better than they appear due to how armor works) but we'll see I guess.

Ok, dont get it. First you nerf ES and Life, after nerf surviv passives...? Sry what? Why? Is it gonna help new players or make better builds or what? Is there any proof (give a link if there any) on build that make you get 100% of all resists. Where? Huh? Now im gonna cry more :'(
;_;

Still thx GGG, will try new Leagues but that nerf for ES + Life + Surv not help

You do realize that the nerf on survivability was to compensate the decreased monster damage, right? Endurance charges nodes were pretty strong as well.

Also, it is possible to hit 100% all resist with unique items, flasks, purity, and the original elemental adaptation.

Patch was great, GGG.

I can see the benefit in limiting maximum resistances, but why not flat cap it at 95%?

There is such a bloody simple answer for this.

95% + 1 unique that adds 5% to max = 100% resistance. End of.

He means flat cap, which means the max resist you can get is 95% no matter how much max resist you actually have lol...
So all major caster builds are nerfed, lightning arrow is nerfed, rain of arrows is the same, melted gets a tiny bump, and the underused skills are unchanged. Also no new skills added to offset the frustration of a major round of nerfs. Can't say this makes me enthusiastic to play more.
i'm really excited for that new league .... the rogue exile is a pretty aweesome idea
The change to monster damage and player life sounds very promising. Great time to get back into the game with these new leagues starting as well.
