" I need 2 scourings and of course I have them. I just find no reason to downgrade it from lvl 20 to lvl 18 (it was time consuming to lvl up to 20). No reason to loose 2 gem's lvl, 2 scourings and 100 evasion. What was the problem with that +30 Dex? I find more reasons to continue to play other games 8 hours per days as I do since one week (I was waiting that patch for enhances, not to have more problems than in the past). fkxLegacySpectral : lvl 97 Raider ST HowA [Legacy] fkxBreachSlayer : lvl 95 Slayer Blade Flurry [Breach] fkxCrockett : lvl 94 Saboteur Ice Trap [Perendus] fkxRampage : lvl 94 Witch Fireball [Rampage] fkxShadow : lvl 95 Shadow FP/CI [open beta] Last edited by fkxShadow#6629 on Jun 5, 2013, 8:38:35 PM

Just want to say thanks for this patch, I feel you guys have made a great game even better, it's especially all the smaller details that combined also make a big difference, besides all the major balance changes.
I love the healthbars I love the reduction of the tab map I love the new es covering much more of the health globe I definetly love the quality improved crafting, I 6linked my chest in about 8 stacks of armour scraps after having used hundreds of fusings before the patch trying to 5link it, and around 500 jewelers to 6s it. I go to sleep a happy man Goodnight -> cant wait for the new leagues! |

" You're honestly going to quit playing altogether because one single node on a 1300+ node passive skill tree was changed by 10 dexterity points? Good lord. |

" Wait, was that rare or white? To make a rare 20% quality you need 20 scraps, 8 stack is 16x20, so you made a 6link in 16 fuses? |

A few things I've noticed now that the patch is live.
It would have been awesome to have a list of all the passives that were getting the changed. There was no mention at all that the passive resists while wearing a shield were getting reduced. Changes happen, and I'm not unhappy that it was changed, I'm just unhappy that they were changed and not mentioned, when other passive resist nodes were specifically mentioned. This is why in my I kept asking if we were going to get an updated tree before patch went live. I now feel like I need to figure out what I'm going to do before I can even play my character. I'm certainly not going to go back to mapping without max resists. |

There's one thing that I really can't understand:
Were shields so OP before? Each and every 'tanky' build? Why are the shield elemental resistances in the NW corner now lowered to 10%? Diamond Skin nodes were downgraded from 15 to 12. That's 3% less and they don't require any specific equipment or particular investment since they're pretty easy to reach while gathering other nodes (mainly damage ones, if balance was the issue). Now generic res nodes are better than build+item specific res nodes. That alone doesn't sound right. Having 10% less resistances while using a shield also means that most probably yet another item with resistances is needed. From an optimization point of view, when sacrificing a stat for another the highest roll possible is the logical target. With that in mind, at some point taking at least one of such nodes becomes moot because a good resistance item can cover more than a 10% loss. I doubt this was the inteded effect at all. This isn't (just) a rant, I'd like to understand if the problem was the very idea of building a defensive character in the first place and losing that niche is really giving more balance to the game. |
