sadly most people see beta as a demo or early chance to play. i see it as a early change to play :) and a way to help improve the game.

I'm with apocalypse... I want to sludge through a beta to help improve the game.. give me a non-demo beta and I will find your problems!

There is a difference between a beta release and an alpha release.
I'd rather wait around a bit longer so that when the beta comes around theirs not as many bugs/incompleted areas, ect.. like there would be if they released it now. | |

Bugs can get fixed a lot faster if you have many testers (ie players). Even if there is a wipe afterwards, it would help speed up the process of development :).

I f'ing love games made by the underdog, especially when they look awesome like this one... Which reminds me of an awesome blend of the original Diablo (in grittiness), Diablo 2, and refreshingly Final Fantasy 7 (at least in regards to the gems, which feel like materia...) Just plain awesome!
