Constant Crashes (Update 2 - Still occurring after recent console patch - Version 4.5.0.840)

Before the latest hotfix every time i teleported to town and attempted to take the portal back to a zone would result in a crash 100% of the time. That's still happening but now also crashing randomly just standing in town, checking stash or opening a vendor. It was already near unplayable before the last hotfix, now its even worse.

Playing on Xbox S/S, but seems like looking at discussions it's not just xbox, its every system having severe crashing problems as well.

Update 1 : now it seems to be crashing me about every 10-15mins of being logged in regardless of what i do. Been crashed from trying to equip gear, open stash, looking in stash, open + looking at vendor, trying to spend passive tree points, portal to town, portal from town, waypoint porting, standing in town, standing in hideout. It's been relentless non stop game crashes, re-open game log back in crash again and repeat.

I've tried everything i can think of and looked up and tried the advice from others having the same issues and nothing has helped.

Whatever this patch did seriously broke things badly for me and some others.
Sadly its just unplayable for me in its current state for now.

Update 2 After Xbox patch (version 4.5.0.840) : After the latest console patch cane out logging in started out rocky with a crash after about 20m minutes going through a portal but then had no issues afterwards for about an hour. Then i've crashed 5 times in quick succession trying to update my support gems for my skills, once in my stash, once trying to tp to hideout, 2 more trying to load into a zone. I'll keep trying and update again if anything seems to change, but so far it seems like its still crash city sadly.

Yeah im having the same problem. Started in act 3 and has gotten progressively worse. Im not sure what is going on, or the cause of it. I really wish they would communicate and say something. Its really annoying when dealing with these issues to get radio silence from the developers. Just a "hey we see your reports and are working on a fix" can go along way... but its just nothing for days. Not sure what to do. I really like video games but the little to no communication from the developers on when stuff like this is happening really frustrates me. Sorry for the rant on your post.

No apologies needed, im right there with you mate, having the exact same experience you are. It's been completely unplayable for days now with no real update on whats going on or that its getting looked into. I want to enjoy the game, but sadly it just wont let me lol

+1 also on series S. Constant crashing in campaign (Act 3 last night/Act 4 today) everytime i port out of town even after the most recent patch.

Edit: No crashes throughout the interludes, except of course when I had to travel back to kingsmarch to end campaign.

The last Xbox update broke something. I'm getting constantly disconnected, and the last time I opened the chest, I could not see the contents of any of my special stash tabs (currency, sockets, etc, nothing loads, just the wooden background), just the quads I use as dump.

been having this problem all day I’m completely stuck in act 3 because I can’t talk to Ava long enough to travel before my game just crashes had crashes off and on until today I can’t play the game for more than 30 seconds.

Same here series s and act 3 was rough but in act 4 everything I do seems to cause a crash. It's almost unplayable. Funny thing is once I get into a location I can fight just fine. It's just anything in town and traveling back and fourth that seems to cause the crashing. I have also tried every setting combination I could try with the up scaling and all that. Nothing seems to make it any better.

We spend more time relogging in than playing since yesterday's patch on xbox. Check items crash, transport crash, move points crash....we gave up. Every 10-15min a crash
