I dunno why they changed the questline to talk to Dannig. It has always been the captain on the ship previous patches. Don’t talk to Dannig, talk to the Ship captain (forgot his/her name). And it will work.

Once you are done with Act 4 set sail to any island then you will see Makoru on top of Rhodri on the ship deck.

Had the first torn piece of the map. Went to Dannig, nothing. No interaction. Did exactly like someone explained here and now my piece of the map is gone.. LOL good work GGG.

You need to speak to Makoru and ask her about each piece first. If you have reached the part where Makoru has disappeared, then you need to complete Ngakanu, and she will reappear again.

Same here. Stuck with map piece and shark fin. Can't deliver them to anybody.
