campaign skip needed

Naw, just sounds like you need to find a new game.

There's a lot to love about PoE2 but not the rerunning of the campaign each season. So yeah,I have moved on to play other games, but I am also going to share my thoughts/experience here because I am not the only one who does not like having to run campaigns over and over again, and that is something the devs should be aware of.

Play standard league

Playing standard league means missing out on everything that seasonal leagues brings, which is typically what brings players back to play. Having an alternative leveling option takes nothing away from your gaming experience if you do not mind running campaign over and over so why should I have to be left to only play standard? What if I wanted to play a different class, including when they add the new ones?
It’s nearly impossible for casual players with a job and family to complete the campaign in under a week (max. 2h playtime per day).

4–6h for casuals, 2–3h for average players, 45min–1h for pros – that’s maybe an acceptable campaign time.

Farming after the story already takes enough time, but there are other valid points:

No story is worth playing 10 or more times,
no sequence is worth being seen 10 to 100 times.

I was super excited to get back into POE2, but I just can't take yet another run through campaign. I know for some reason GGG is so stuck on having to have everyone run it, but not everyone wants to do it over and over... and this is just EA. Imagine after some years having run it every time. Please add alternative/optional leveling method. If you do I guarantee you will see more people playing. It hurts no one to add something that is optional. People who enjoy the campaign can still go run that to do their leveling.

i really like both poe1 and poe2 but the poe2 campaign makes me stop playing after i end up in act 2 or 3.

the fact that your BASIC ATTACK hits more than the spells itself in act 1 and so on is so odd and bad

the only way of solving this in my head would be to have a great campaign loot where we can just abuse doing exalts on items and so on so we can have an easy campaign ahead and maybe a more difficult endgame

I'm just stepping into act 3 this morning as I am not " NO Life Binge Gaming " this time around. Its slow and tedious but Im learning a new character so I dont mind. Btw - Merc/Witch hunter is pretty fun so far..

That said, I wish at least for the EA they could let us skip to Maps, but I dont know how they could because as someone said a level 1 in maps isn't going to end well..
In game since Minotaur League..

But where are you rushing? The league is going to be live for next 5-6 months.

Just enjoy the ride and don't burn out (y)

Second run trough the campaign, should be considerably quicker though.
I tried to league start playing spells this time lol. Big mistake. Can't scale damage at without +levels.

IDk, campaign is just a grind. I'm very over doing it so much. I want to play at least two other chars this league and I get to clearfell. think about how much tedious stuff is ahead of me, and I Just don't want to do it.

I don't like to do it, but I can see why most people start with a meta EZ mode build just to get through it ASAP.

I’m in third part of interludes now and I’m dead certain I won’t play campaign again this league. It’s just such a large amount of time without much happening. I like the campaign, don’t get me wrong, but I already played it 6-7 times… there are favorite movies of mine out there that I haven’t watched 7 times.
Definitely feels like a slog through the campaign. Just got to middle of act 3 and I'm dreading that pyramid area. Playing a Oracle druid this time around to see how things are and it's ok. Mainly slow due to armor on movement speed and overabundance of corners and terrain on the campaign maps in Act 3.

I seriously mean no disrespect, but I do not understand how this logic makes any sense. Majority of players want to play end game and this is true for just about any ARPG or even MMORPGs. So your comment about rushing, while accurate in that we do have 5-6 months, it does not mean players want to spend time running a campaign they've already done several times over. This is like going on a 2 week vacation that you've been planning for awhile and are super pumped to get there, but since you got 2 weeks you drive instead of fly. Sure the drive might have its own fun, if you didnt do that same drive numerous times before, but the whole point is the destination and spending time there.

Your response also does not take into account that:
1) Not everyone, in fact, i would say most players do not play for the full 5-6 months
2) Even if someone does play the full 5-6 months it will not be on the same character, which means running the campaign yet again.
