Crashing while whispering on console has not been fixed, still crashes every time I got to whisper in game?! WTH
While I appreciate the attempt to change corrupting cry, as it's my favorite play style I'd like to give my 2 cents.just throwing it out there I haven't leveled the skill up to 20 yet for corrupting cry. But after this change the damage still did not seem to have any increase in damage and I have 100%+ damage with warcries and brutality in the skill. So it should have more than doubled the damage it was doing. But I felt like more or less the exact same near negligible damage.

Also not trying to be a smartass but did it ever occur to anyone that having a gems damage scale off the level of the skill it's socketed in wouldn't be that great when warcries only have 1 gear piece that can even get a roll of + skills that affect them and it's +1 from desecration and +1 from corruption on amulets. So you are balancing its damage based on a max level of 23-27 with prism of belief, corrupted skill gem, and a desecrated + corrupted with skills amulet, and support gem +1 level

The highest most endgame version of this could have lvl 27 in anything other than fortifying cry . You could maybe reach level 35 on fortifying cry as it has a "melee skills" tag so you can scale it more but it also requires a shield. So in order to hit level 40 you'd have to use Two two handers which would render you unable to use the only warcry you can even scale to max potential. And to use a two hander and shield you have to take giants blood and if you take giants blood you've now cut your life by a third and scaled a shout to cost 700 life per cast on a skill that is meant to be stacked 10 times. So you would effectively kill yourself before reaching 10 stacks.

I have played corrupting cry every league and tried to make it good throwing 1000s of divines at the builds. This is the first time I started using the skill and felt like it was basically a waste of time completely in early game where it used to be a decent option, never a great option but a solid budget leveling build. Now you will be waiting nearly a minute to kill a rare mob with 10 stacks on it. And I would imagine as you level the skill the mobs up also scales so it will continue to feel bad unless you implement a way to actually scale the gem.

Again I appreciate revisiting ways to change corrupting cry but it is a net nerf somehow to a otherwise already subpar damage source and I'm not sure what's causing it to be so bad. At 1000 strength before the base damage would be 250 but at 400 strength (25% is 100 base damage) corrupting cry felt more impactful than level 16 skill gem that makes the base damage 159. Something is wrong...way wrong with how it's working.
