"
All crafted modifiers are now guaranteed, but items can only have 1 crafted modifier at a time. Desecrated modifiers no longer count as crafted modifiers, but items are limited to 1 Desecrated modifier.
Needs to go. It has no place in the game, especially since crafting is already difficult as it is.

i hate it when games invalid past content just to make you interact with the new content. why not leave the old content alone? everyone will be checking out the new stuff anyway its not like you're gonna funnel ppl into playing what they're already gonna check out. its dumb and shortsighted, and done enough times will drive the players away that liked the old content the game continually removes

GGG does not even care about their player's quality of life anymore.
Since they have investors now, their focus shifted on pleasing them than their customers.
The only reason they do nerfs at the cost of quality of life is to significantly slow down the game which they think would boost player retention without costing money.
They know they can get away with it because of their loyal fanbase.
During interviews, they already said multiple times that they are tuning the game based on how THEY want to play it and not on what the players want.
In terms of slowing the game down so players dont leave, its more cost effective to nerf qualiy of life and nerf other builds than actually develop new challenging end game mechanics and rework buff other classes.
That's a funny conspiracy theory when they've always talked about how your intended to stop playing the game after a month or two. They explicitly design it that way, and JR very clearly and firmly reiteratered it in the Legendary Drops podcast and again recently I'm the Tavern Talk podcast.
