Why does it matter what it is? lmao, yall don't even understand what you're crying about, so they drop gem levels, and instead use a different multiplicitive adjustment, why does it matter where it comes from, might as well remove crit damage, crit change, attack speed, everything else.. lets just auto attack.

" Because it doesn't scale like any of those other modifiers at all. Every gem level is a More multiplier compounded on top of the last. There is no diminished effect from stacking it. It's by far the stupidest and easiest way to scale damage and it breaks itemization. Why use a unique item if it doesn't come with the "1.13^7 damage multiplier" suffix. Why use ANY item if it doesn't come with the 1.13^GemLvl mod on it? Also it's an opinion point, but player damage scaling in PoE2 is getting power crept to stupid levels and the most broken stat is a good point to reign it in from.
